Candidate who has passed Diploma in Engineering/Architecture from a recognized board/university with 45% marks for UR category (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC and PWD category of Chattisgarh) can also apply for the course. Candidate passing 10th/12th through distance learning/open school shall be eligible for admission. Candidate passed diploma program through distance learning shall not be eligible to apply. If the candidate has passed 10+2 examination, but failed in one or more compulsory subject than the candidate shall not be considered eligible for admission. If the candidate is declared passed with grace as per the rule of related board than the candidate shall be eligible to apply. Candidate Upper age limit is 30 years for UR category , 35 years for PWD who belongs to UR category of Chattisgarh, 33 years for SC/ST/OBC and Female category of Chattisgarh, and 38 years for PWD who belongs to SC/ST/OBC and female category of Chattisgarh as on 1st of July of academic year.

Do not invest your time and money in this college for engineering.

Placements: Placements for our batch were very bad, and even placements for our senior batch were not up to the mark. Only 20% of the students of our batch were placed. The highest salary package offered was around 3.25 LPA, the average salary package offered was around 2.50 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was around 2 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Genpact visited our college for placements. Mostly roles of BPO were offered. None of the students got an internship through college. There is a placement cell in college. It is very efficient as it provides training to students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent. Labs are good, and there are almost 240 computers. Classrooms are decent. The library is good and contains approximately 2,000 books. Medical facilities here are decent. Sports facilities are very bad, and the quality of food served is good. Hostel rooms are also good. We had faced many problems related to infrastructure such as labs were not fully equipped.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are good, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable along with having valuable years of experience. Traditional teaching methods are used in classrooms. Faculty to student ratio was about 1:60. We did not get any industry exposure from the college as there were no industrial visits conducted during our college time.

Placements: This year is very good for the college as well as the students because many companies visited and more than 65% students got placed. The placement cell is doing a very good job, and they are giving their best to get good companies for the students, not only on campus but also outside.

Infrastructure: My college has three buildings. One for engineering, other two for management and library. The college is equipped with all the facilities. There are two toilets on each floor. There are two seminar halls and separate computer labs for each branch. All the labs are equipped with all the facilities properly.

Faculty: The best thing of my college is that all the faculty members are very good and they have very good knowledge of new trends. They help every student, and they support us a lot. They always motivate us and provide a proper pathway to do good things. They are the steps for our success.

Other: My college provides everything, from education to extracurricular. Every year, they give scholarships, organise fests and lots of workshops are also conducted. My college mainly focuses on workshops, and that's a lot of help.

SSIPMT could be a choice before IIT and NIT.

Placements: The placements are very good here, so many companies come to my college. This year, Samsung came, and 3 students got selected there. It's a very good college. The best thing is that the placement office tries to bring good companies for the students, and they also provide aptitude training as well. So, that is a plus point for us.

Infrastructure: My college has 4 buildings. They are management, engineering, nursing and library/seminar building. All the buildings are full of each and everything. There are toilets on each floor. There is also lift facilities on the floor for the people who are sick or disabled.

Faculty: The faculty members are experienced, and they know the latest technology as well. They focus on every student. They motivate us a lot, and they focus on practical knowledge as well. They support us for internship and exams. They do some different things to help the student to understand.

Other: Every year, there is a fest every month. Different branches hold many events. So, here the students can focus on their hobbies and talents as well.

SSIPMT- An institute you must choose.

Placements: The placement is here mostly in Raipur. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Tech Mahindra come here to hire students. The campus placement scenario is very good and increasing year by year. For the E&TC branch, a few core companies also come to hire students. For placements, CRT classes are arranged separately.

Infrastructure: It has a very good infrastructure and is one of the best in Chhattisgarh. There is an auditorium capable of 300+ students, a library with updated books, a football ground, TT hall, badminton court and a volleyball court. All of these are on this campus and for indoor games like chess, carrom, and darts, there is a particular hall available.

Faculty: SSIPMT has one of the best faculty members in central India. Professors from IITs, NITs and BITs are here to teach. The course is taught very practically. SSIPMT badge has the first spot in CSVTU end-semester exam results every year. Each branch has its own club related to that branch and other activities like sports and photography.

Other: If you want to be placed and want to get a good practical knowledge, then you must take admission here. You will find it better than most of the college in the rest of Chhattisgarh. Many of the students have gone abroad as well for research work and jobs.

Placements: The placement was very good and I am placed in Tech Mahindra. Our seniors are also placed in many companies like Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, Collabra, Genpact, Tech Mahindra, etc. Our training and placement department is very good. They help us, guide us and they are the major reason for our placements.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are very neat and clean. Sports are also regularly held. The library and labs are also very good. Regularly, there were events and extracurricular activities were also held. The cafeteria is also good and we used to get good food to eat. Hostel rooms are also good at a reasonable price. The hostel mess is also good.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful as well as knowledgeable. The methods they use to teach are also very good. We also got the industry exposure too. The course was very useful. Teachers are well-qualified and their methods are very easy to grasp.
