In short, the college is good in all terms but only if you don't want a proper career in academics.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is not very active. Some students gets placed in average companies and students have to go through some professional courses in this college to get some good placement . Faculty is still decent as compared to other colleges .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, we have good library and good seminar halls with fine computer labs. But when it comes to canteen, that is not at all good and the food is also average too . Rest it is somewhat average only in terms of infrastructure .
Faculty: Academically shyam lal evening is average as there are no regular classes for students and teachers doesn't take too much initiative to teach students properly . All this creates a hindrance in learning. Talking about exams, you can easily pass the exams.
Other: In our college, there are fests which are organised regularly by different departments and different societies of the college. Sometimes there are celebrities which we call from outside for student interaction.

It is an average college with no exposure.
Placements: The placement cell is not good. Few companies come and hire only a few students for internships. They provide an average salary package of 3 LPA. For good placements, you need to opt for some other college because this one is not good in terms of placements.
Infrastructure: It has a good infrastructure. It has a huge library. The canteen is average. The food in the canteen is not good. You need to carry lunch because there is nothing good to eat near the college or in the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, which will be beneficial in the future. Semester exams are a bit tough, especially for those who study one day before the exams. You need to study hard to get a good score.

Dissatisfied by the college, its faculty, societies and crowd.
Placements: Around 30-40% of students were placed in my course this year. The highest package went for 4-5 lacs p.a., and the lowest was around 1.5 lacs. The average was 2-3 lacs. Top recruiting companies were IBM, Astral, and many more. Around 25% of students got internships in companies like Juspay, etc. The top roles offered are data analyst and economist.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in Shyamlal include a small ground and a large group consisting of NCC camps. There is a small amphitheatre and an average canteen in the college, average and conditioned libraries, and labs. Classrooms are average too in both the new building and the old.
There is no hostel available, but there are many PGs available beside the college.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, but not all, and their teaching quality is above average.
This course curriculum is much relevant and makes the students industry-ready.
Semester exams are much tougher in the college as all DU colleges have the same question paper from the University; you need to pass 40% of your subjects.
Other: I chose this course because this is not an average course, and I needed a valuable undergraduate degree. The best thing about this course is that it makes you mathematically strong.
I wish this course didn't have so much mathematics and more about economics.
The campus surroundings are below average, and the crowd in the college consists of 50% illiterate students.
Events in the college happen to be good, but there is not much importance given to societies in the college.

One can surely come to this college as it is good for economics and B.Com. honors.
Placements: In our college, more than 95% of students can apply for this college. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Paytm, Capgemini, Deloitte, Tesla, and Google visit our campus. Almost 90% of students get internships at these companies. Top roles offered are data analyst and economist. Internships are also very helpful.
Infrastructure: In our college, computer labs are good and the auditorium is well furnished. Wi-Fi also works well and is stable. The hockey ground is also huge. We have volleyball, cricket ground, and table tennis court. The library card is given to students and an ID card is provided.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they believe in adaptive learning. Students can take an extra class once their doubts have been cleared. If the semester exams are conducted by Delhi University, they are not tough. Students who want to pursue their master's degrees can begin their studies.
Other: Economics has expanded in scope and options in recent years. Data analysis or a master's degree in events can be pursued further, and various societies hold festivals.

Nyc college with good infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: Average placements, 15-20% students got placed of average 1.5 Lacs. Companies like jio and accenture come there. Students must have scored good percentile to get placement and must have skills otherwise placements chances are less from this college.
Infrastructure: Nice infrastructure, hockey stadium is there which is the biggest stadium in Delhi university, canteen food is nyc and prices are pocket friendly, library js very huge and staff is very nyc, Wi-Fi ais also available in college and each students allow to use it.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, well qualified, understanding. Semesters exams are quite easy but it depends on your course, if u r from economics department u must have to study hard to get good score in exams. Course curriculum is relevant in this college.
