Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2024, really good infrastructure .

Placements: Around 10-15% of graduates get placed, with the lowest package around 1.5 LPA and the highest around 6-7 LPA. Top recruiters are Zomato, KPMG, etc. Around 20-25% of students are able to get an internship. Lower roles are offered after B. Com., but graduates need to do an MBA or CA Intermediate for higher roles.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and well-maintained labs and classrooms. The library is quite good, and students who want to study can come here and enjoy their college life. However, morning is better than evening due to placement and better crowd.

Faculty: The student body is very diverse, with students from all over Kerala and the Shillong area. The teachers are very supportive, and the facilities are top-notch. The workload is moderate, and you can expect to take four tests. This college is a great choice for students who want a supportive learning environment.

Other: B.Com is quite popular here. B.Sc and B.A are not as popular, but they are offered as well.

Review of Shyam Lal college.

Placements: Placements in our college are not very good, there is an average placement rate. The highest salary package offered in our course is about 4 LPA - 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.80 LPA, which is an average package. If a student works hard and shows dedication, students can secure placement with good package.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Shyam Lal College is good, and they provide us with facilities like Wi-Fi on campus. Library is also good, and there is a reading room, especially for studying, but there is no hostel in our college. Sports grounds are well maintained and cleaned.

Faculty: Faculty members of Shyam Lal College Evening are very good, well-trained, and highly educated. Their teaching behavior and knowledge help students grow in their life, and the curriculum is well-scheduled. Faculty take tests from time to time to check the performance of students.

Other: I chose the college because it is part of Delhi University, which provides various facilities to students. Its fee structure is very low and affordable, and its way of studying is different from other colleges. The main thing is that the college has good connectivity by metro and bus.

Our college is good from outside but it is totally gang and group fights from inside.

Placements: I haven't seen any of my seniors placed anywhere. There is no recruitment in our college. Companies don't visit the campus. There is not good quality of students. The campus does not provide job opportunities. It is better to join SOL and complete graduation/

Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities. A good drinking water facility is not available. We have a very small library. There is no safety and security. Air conditioners and CCTV cameras are not available. Classrooms are old and without any facilities. There is no technology. It all depends on political interference. If you are politically strong, then you can survive.

Faculty: Some teachers are good but most of them don't care if students understand or not. They just do work and just go away. The course does not make students ready for the industry. DU exams are not very tough. Technology is not available. The course is old-fashioned with full political interference.

Other: I chose B.Com, and I thought it was a DU college, but here everything is different and the worst. The crowd is not good.

Placements: 75% of students were placed in our course. The average packages in our course range from 3 to 4 LPAs. Recruitment companies are Tata, Wipro, Google, and Infosys. 50% of students will get internships at Tata, Wipro, and Google. Roles in B.Com. include banking and IBPS Clerk, IBPS PO, SBI Clerk, SBI PO, IBPS RRB, and all banking exams.

Infrastructure: I am currently a second-year student at Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi, and my experience so far has been excellent. The faculty here is truly exceptional, providing insightful lectures and always being available for guidance. Their dedication to student success is evident in every class. One area where the college could improve is its computer labs. While they are functional, an upgrade in equipment and resources would greatly enhance the learning experience, especially for those in teaching-related courses.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. No, this course curriculum is not relevant; it is adjustable; students are industry-ready at 50–60%.. Exams are not so hard it is average, passing % is 95% in 1st year, 2nd year 85%, 3rd year 75%.
