Average rating of this institute

Placements: Around 30-40% of students were placed in my course this year. The highest package went for 4-5 lacs p.a., and the lowest was around 1.5 lacs. The average was 2-3 lacs. Top recruiting companies were IBM, Astral, and many more. Around 25% of students got internships in companies like Juspay, etc. The top roles offered are data analyst and economist.
Placements: Most of my batchmates did not want jobs. They were preparing for civil service examinations like UPSC and SSC. Many students who wanted to work got placements, but not through college. They got placements because of the experience they got in college.
Placements: The placement cell is not good. Few companies come and hire only a few students for internships. They provide an average salary package of 3 LPA. For good placements, you need to opt for some other college because this one is not good in terms of placements.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities provided in the college but the placement cell make sure to provide exposure and training to the students for the coming internship in companies like Younity. The teachers are very cooperative and also provide us with information regarding internship opportunities from time to time.
Placements: About 1% of students got placed. There is no placement cell in the college. Students have to take internships on their own. The college doesn't provide internship programmes. Teachers provide internships to the maximum of girls, not boys. There is no higher post offered by any company.
Placements: It is an average college of Delhi University. Many companies like HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, etc., visit our college for students. Few students from our course got internships. Many students, including me, did not get internships, but we are trying hard to get an internship.
Placements: Average placements, 15-20% students got placed of average 1.5 Lacs. Companies like jio and accenture come there. Students must have scored good percentile to get placement and must have skills otherwise placements chances are less from this college.
Placements: Placements in our college are good, and I am satisfied because they helped me. The college has its own placement cell, and it provides all the facilities to try for the best job. It is located at a great location, and it is amazing in all kinds. You can easily take admission through the cut off admission procedure and get into one of the great colleges and enjoy your 3 years.
Placements: Around 60 students got placed in our B.Com Hons course. I think the average salary package offered in this course is 2 LPA. Our college offered many courses like B.Com Hons, B.Com, Eco Hons, English Hons, etc.
Placements: There were no placements in our course at that time. As it was a new course for the college, it lasted only for the batch of 2013-2016. After that, they don't have English honours. Also, there were no internships for us.
Placements: Really bad placement record. To my knowledge, no one from my course got placement. There were no internship programs amidst the course. We were contacted once but was in-vain as nothing was carried forward. Students gave active participation but the latter were passive.
Placements: Unusually any student get placement offers since no company visit our college for placements. So I have nothing to say about the highest, the lowest and average salary package offered to us. Moreover, I tried to contact the committees and submitted my curriculum vitae, but not only me, nobody received the call in return.
Placements: Only 10-20% of the students got placed in the previous year. The highest salary package offered is 2.6 LPA and the minimum salary package offered is 1.4 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are Vestige and Amazon. In 2020, the first internship fair was organised by the commerce society in which around 30 students grabbed internships. The top role offered is management.
Placements: Placements in our college were pathetic. Firstly there were no placements at all and the companies in which some people got placed turned out to be fraudulent. This year, I got to know companies like Jio visited the campus for placements, but for the tele advisors. Morning college has better placements as compared to the evening. My personal experience was unsatisfactory as the company which placed me asked for Rs. 10,000 to train me. Later, I got to know after taking that money from others they...
Placements: Placements in college were not good during my tenure. Only 1 or 2 companies visited the campus and offered salary packages of 2 LPA. The jobs offered were of sales profiles. I have heard from the current students that the placement cell has improved now, and various companies visit the campus every year.
Placements: There is no much scope for placements. Although you can get one or two job offers, it depends on you and also your course. Placement facilities are available only for the commerce department and B.A (eco). There is an improvement in all other departments.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is fine. In our college, the number of companies visiting here is very low. The salary offered by them is just moderate, still, it is quite good in comparison to many colleges. If someone is seeking for college having good placement cell, then Shyam Lal College shouldn't be their first preference.
Placements: Around 10% of the students were placed, and the highest salary package offered was 1.80 LPA. Almost all the well-reputed companies visited the campus for placements. The roles offered were not that good, and this might be the reason for low placement percentage.
Placements: The placement scenario in the college is average. No reputed company has visited the college, only some small insurance companies visited to offer placements with an average package of 1.5 lakhs to a maximum of 2 lakhs per annum. Hence, most of the students preferred central placements in Delhi University.
Placements: The placement cell was not so good. They offered night shifts which could not be possible for girls so it was not so useful for us. We had to find job after the college by ourselves and nobody wants to do it by themselves. So before joining this college or another just check about their placement history.
