Review of Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi.

Placements: At least 30% of the students got placed from our course. About 50% of the students got internships. Companies which visit here are not famous but provide good placement offers. Analyst, business developer, sales and marketing roles are offered in this course. Placements of the B.Sc course are highly appreciated.

Really good faculty members, all facilities and infrastructure are the best.

Placements: 70% of students were placed in our course/ 8 lacs per annum is the highest and 4 lacs per annum is the lowest package of our college. Mostly hcl visit for our course. If you go for this course there is not much scope in future. Mostly students have scope in languages like python, SQL and Java.

Our college has various societies which are very helpful.

Placements: Almost 95% of the students got placements. The salary packages offered were amazing and recruiting companies of our course were the best companies. The college is very helpful and good for everyone and I suggest that every student should take admission here and get the best advantage for the future.

Staff members are cooperative. The infrastructure has changed a lot and still developing.

Placements: I am from the B.Com programme session of the 2016-2019 batch. Mostly, placements are offered in the sales department and other departments also. The salary package offered is around 6 LPA-7 LPA. There are good opportunities for students who want part-time jobs and early placements. For students who search for internships, the companies can provide those opportunities also.

I am satisfied to get a chance to study in one of the good colleges of University of Delhi.

Placements: Students who score more than 86% in the general category can get admission to the college. Placements are not so good because the college is off-campus. About 50-60% of the students got internship and even I did an internship in NITI Aayog. The role offered in our course is related to management skills with teamwork. A regular student can also get an opportunity to learn software like tally and ITR.

Our college is average in some aspects.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. At least 60-70% of the students got internships from our college in small ventures and a few big companies also. Top recruiting companies are Sharekhan and many others. Mainly they want students from the commerce background.

It is the most underrated college of DU.

Placements: You can't expect big companies like Tata or TCS to come here, but the placements were decent enough to get a job. Whoever applied for placement drives, 5-6 out of every 10 students got selected. The placement rate is not 100% but around 80%. The top recruiters are companies like Sherkhan, Sparsh Ganga, BYJU's etc. Roles offered for B.Com are sales and marketing, HR, digital marketing, content writing etc. Almost everyone gets an internship, and the companies were mostly startups like BYJU's, so...

It is one of the best colleges to take admission in.

Placements: Most of the students get a placement at the college. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. About 80% of the students got placement in companies like Wipro, IBM, and many other organisations. So I would suggest all the students take admission here.

It is an average college, but college life is best if you have friends.

Placements: Our batch was the first batch of this college in this course. We all will pass out in 2022. Placements are not available for this course at the undergraduate level. To get placements, you have to pursue masters. Recruiters are basically chemical companies, CRO, etc. Internships are available in our college.

Not absolutely, but dissatisfied with the college because of not up to the mark infrastructure.

Placements: Since, nobody contacted us for the placements, I have no idea regarding the placements and the packages, As a result, less than 10% students got the placement from my course. Thus, no highest package, no internships, no roles offered. My classmates and I submitted our CVs too but no reply from the committees.

Here you will get better offers from the best companies than other universities. The recruiting companies are mostly of Indian origin like Tata.

It is a good college with well-qualified and experienced faculty members.

Placements: For placement, there is a placement cell in the college. The placement cell provides job opportunities for 3rd-year students and internship opportunities for 2nd-year students. Every year the cell organises a placement fest in the college in which various companies visit the college. I do not know about the names of the companies that visit our college for placements. The average salary package offered ranges from 2-3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered this year is 8 LPA.

Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi is a good college.

Placements: There is a proper placement cell in this college. I passed out from the college in the pandemic, so most of the students of our batch did not get placement opportunities. But you cannot get a direct job or placement. You need to have more skills. You can practice coding, Python, etc.

Review of Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi.

Placements: As being a placement coordinator, the placement cell of our college works really hard to invite good companies for graduate based roles. Some of them are big 4 companies, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, etc. It completely depends on students whether they want to opt for placements or not. I suggest you just connect with the coordinators, and they'll help you to find the right company.

I am satisfied with my college. All staff members and teachers are good.

Placements: It is an average college of Delhi University. Many companies like HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, etc., visit our college for students. Few students from our course got an internship. Many students, including me, did not get internships, but we are trying hard to get an internship.
