Shyamlal changed from the worst college to good college.

Placements: All the BPO companies visited the campus like Concentrix for the campus placements and offered the package of Rs. 2,40,000 per annum including the incentives. About 50-60% of the students were interested in such visits. They offer both voice and non-voice profile to the students. The internship quality was not good.

Absolutely satisfied with the 3 years I spent here.

Placements: Placements were not good. Placement cell was made in 2015. Major companies visited were RBS concentrics. Though the students and teachers are working hard towards it, still it lack behind from the other colleges of Delhi University. In future it will surely improve.

SLC=Student learning center.

Placements: I got the job in college placement but I did not join because I don't wanna go in that field. There are many companies which comes for college placement like RBS, mahindra, icici etc. If anyone is interested in marketing then they can choose this college because many companies comes with marketing opening in college placements. In fact if you are from commerce background then you can choose this blindly.

A review on Shyam Lal College.

Placements: The college has an active placement cell which invites companies to college and select students. Companies like Wipro, RBS, Genpact, etc., call the students for an interview. Apart from that, you can approach Delhi University central placement cell which provides a platform for all students to take participation in CPC.

The infrastructure of the college was very well as we have a very large ground.

Placements: Every year, our college organises placement cells for the students. The students get very good opportunities, and it is useful for the students to step into their career. Many of my seniors are well-settled, after getting a career option in college placement cells, as they get fresh chance to build their career within the year of completion of their study.

Total I will give 7 out of 10 for my college.

Placements: There is placement in our college. I saw my senior which is placed by a company and got a good salary for the work. Not all companies visit the campus but mostly infosys I seen. Approximately 35% students of our college get internship. So I think our college gives best placement.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty. Good placements for English Hons. in 2015.

Placements: Placements are not provided for the students of B.A Hindi Hons. Placements are available for other courses like B.Sc, B.Com and B.A English Hons. Placements are good for students. It gives a lot of good experience and a good career to students. The companies offered average salaries.

The college is an amalgamation of good and bad.

Placements: Placements from the college are not up to the mark. Only 15-20% of my seniors were placed with an average salary of 20,000 per month. The internship status is also same. Though a placement cell is working in the college but still most of the students depend on internships provided by outsiders.

I am absolutely satisfied because of good college life, good infrastructure and best teachers.

Placements: Placements here were nice, and the salary offered was handsome. Good companies visited here for recruitment. Most of our batchmates got placed in good companies, and the salary offered to us was satisfactory. Students also need to work hard before getting placements from college. This college provides all the facilities required for our placements and our better future. I am thankful to our helpful teachers who make us reach great heights.

The review of Shyam Lal College.

Placements: There's an active placement cell in the college. The companies like RBS, Convergys, and Tommy Hilfiger visited the college. A fair number of students were placed with an average CTC of around 3.5 LPA. Mostly the students from commerce and economics fields were recruited.

Satisfied because of teaching facilities provided.

Placements: Seeker may found placement cells here and many opportunities for placement but here is lack of quality jobs offered or internships offered if compared with other colleges of DU. But still some reputated organisation steps in for search of cream. You have to try your best for that time.

Good place to study but not best place.

Placements: Poor faculty, they just hire for BPO's, packages are very poor, but environment is so good, Main concern of placement is marketing and advertising, maximum salary package is around 10lack p. a and minimum is just around 2.4 lacks p. a. There is a functional placement cell in the college but being off campus college not many renowned company visit here.

Placements: Placements are average in the college. Around 60 - 70% students get placed every year. Average salary offered was 3 lacs in my batch. Many goods companies visit the college for placements like RBS, SBI, american express, food panda. College do not provide good internship facilities but there is a placement cell.

Good college but north campus is best.

Placements: I was placed in Royal Bank of Scotland. Many companies came for campus placements and asked different questions to select the right candidate. So I got selected in the insurance company which is ICICI Prudential and Royal Bank of Scotland. It has good placements and a good package for startups.

The college placements are good. The library of the college has very few books.

Placements: The placement scenario of the college is quite good, which is getting better every year. Almost 50-60% of the applied students got selected. Many reputed companies visit the college are American Express, RBS, Foodpanda and Mahindra Tourism. The average salary package offered is 15-20 LPA.

Great social interaction and amazing adventures.

Placements: Placements here has been about 10% in this college which is mostly for the commerce and economics students. I also got to know that the highest offer here was 2.5 LPA. Here, RBS, American Express and many more companies visited the college. Roles were like operator, clerical, insurance agent etc. I don't know if college guides students to get an internship and thus there was no stipend offered to them. We have to find it on our own. There was a placement cell in the college which was much effici...

Nice college overall being a du brand is cherry on the cake.

Placements: College has placements but they are not upto the expectations. If you are ready to settle for the low pay of around 10k per month then you can definitely get it by sitting in the placement cell of the college. There are very few companies who visit the campus but still brand name of DU makes it feel good.

The college has an average infrastructure with the good studies and sports.

Placements: The college doesn't have any placement cell for science stream. You might get some visit by BPOs or insurance companies for an agent, but nothing related to your course. If you are opting a commerce course, you have chances to get some campus placement as it is good cell here and developing year by year.

Shyamlal College is best in East region.

Placements: I didn't get placed because I didn't apply but many of my friends got placed. 3 or 4 companies came to our campus and selected candidates. The salary package was not quite enough and not a promising job, but still, for freshers, there is hope.
