The college has an average infrastructure with the good studies and sports.

Placements: The college doesn't have any placement cell for science stream. You might get some visit by BPOs or insurance companies for an agent, but nothing related to your course. If you are opting a commerce course, you have chances to get some campus placement as it is good cell here and developing year by year.

Shyamlal College is best in East region.

Placements: I didn't get placed because I didn't apply but many of my friends got placed. 3 or 4 companies came to our campus and selected candidates. The salary package was not quite enough and not a promising job, but still, for freshers, there is hope.

Satisfied with faculty, infrastructure and facilities, and the number of placements is increasing.

Placements: The placements from my college are getting better and better. In the previous year, many reputed companies like Royal Bank of Scotland visited our campus for the placement. Approximately, 5-10% of the students got placed in the different companies. The average package of them was around 2.75-3 LPA. The one, who is interested in doing internship gets the internship from our college. We have an active placement cell, which is working actively to provide the internships and placements to the studen...

Good for competitions and other extracurricular activities, but not for studying.

Placements: Only 15-20 were placed, and the average salary offered was Rs. 17,000 per month. Few companies visited the college for placements. The companies will conduct a small test and interview in the selection procedure. The placement cell is not good, and it doesn't help in giving the placements with a good salary package. We hardly have a chance of placements.

Shyam Lal is an enough good college.

Placements: In my college, there are not a lot of placements. Hardly 2 or 3 companies came in our college. And, they select 1 or 2 candidates. They tell you in the 1st year that there are a lot of placements, but it is only a myth. Placement cell is average, not much good.

A desired college because of the DU factor is there. Best faculty knowledge at lower cost.

Placements: Placements were good as those who applied were given chance to get placed too. One of my friends got placed in RBS package was 5lakhs. Many banks also visited the campus else BPO's were also there. The placement cell is up to the mark performing it's duties well.

The campus is good, which provides the good knowledge to the students.

Placements: The students get placed in the multinational companies in the roles like banking, back office, data entry operator, software development, trip advisory, telecommunications, CA., networking sector, teaching sectors, tourism industry, language courses, etc.

The college is good for the students who want to live their life like a gentleman.

Placements: The chance of the placement in any company is about 60% to 70%, but still, it depends on the students. If you do you are the best during the interview, then no one can neglect you from the placement or for that job. Many of the seniors of my college got placements in good companies.

A review on Shyamlal College.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placements. No company came to the campus, both for our seniors and our batch. This is because the image of our college is not good. Even the companies for customer executive jobs are not interested in coming here. If you are expecting recruitment from college, it is a complete failure. No placement opportunities are provided by this college. This college is good only for those who want a degree to prepare for other exams by themselves.

It is a growing college of Delhi University.

Placements: The placements are not good. Some companies came for campus recruitment, and many students got selected. But the scope of the internship is good in college. Many small-scale companies provide the offer of internships. There are companies like Tommy Hilfiger and other popular brands selected students for some good posts.

The best college in East Delhi.

Placements: The companies around there for hiring the students who crack the interview and also interested in that kind of jobs like finance, banking, etc. Many of the highly reputed MNCs come to the college for hiring new graduates and give them opportunities like they were always looking for in their life.

The best part is that I am a part of University of Delhi.

Placements: The college has its placement cell. The average package offered was 5 LPA to 6 LPA. But in my opinion, it was not worthy. But, being a Delhi University student, you have the main advantage of CPC main cell. The internships are available if you are always in contact with the teacher.

Decent if you want to get admission in Delhi University and DU degree.

Placements: The placements are well brought up by the placement cell in college. Though the companies which come offer the decent amount of packages but not sufficient. Only 5 out of 100 students as per grades get selected. The lowest salary offered is 1lakh 20thousand per annum, and the maximum depends on which company you will be getting placed, and if it is a good company, you can get a good package of around 5-8lakh. The percentage of students get selected and placed is a bit low compared to other colle...

The college has the bad infrastructure and good facilities.

Placements: The placements on the campus were good enough. Around, 40 percent of the students got placed. Many reputed companies visited the college campus. The average salary package was one lac eighty thousand per annum. Many students got two lacs per annum package. There is no internship from the college to the students.

A decent campus with hardworking teachers.

Placements: There is a functional placement cell in the college, but being an off-campus college, not many renowned companies visit here. And the companies that visit are only looking for those B.Com students. Other students have to register themselves with the CPC (central placement cell) of Delhi University if they want to appear for the placements. The college offers no Internships to the students.

I am dissatisfied with placements, but the college is improving day by day.

Placements: Placements were quite often during the last year. Many students got jobs even before graduation. There are many placements and companies our campus were also good, but the roles offered by these companies were not appropriate. Being an English Hons student, I would not like to work as a salesperson. The only issue was related to the roles offered by the companies.

This college is a place which can make your dreams come true.

Placements: There's a separate placement cell of our college which is concerned with all placement related activities. The companies like Royal Bank of Scotland, Convergys, Mirus Solution etc. visit our college every year, and a good number of serious and ambitious students gets recruited every year with an average of 2-3 LPA.

A good college to get your admission as it includes a brand name of Delhi University.

Placements: The placements in the college were not at all up to the mark, though some small companies came, but they were not well established and gave very low packages around 1.3 LPA to the students. It was the kind of a Boo company that has visited the campus. In our batch, around 60 to 70 students sat in the placements cell and were selected by the companies.

It's something awesome from within.

Placements: The placements in the college are not too good, but there is a placement cell in the college which works hard to bring different established companies to the college with good packages. Recently, the companies like ICICI, Tommy Hilfiger have visited the college for the recruitment. This college also aims to prepare the children for the outside world and for the off-campus placements.

At last I would say that it was a good experience in my life.

Placements: This college marks 56 percent of placements. The salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month and there is good placement ratio. I am preparing for some examinations related to accounts and banking. In my batch, all the students got the job. Our seniors are working in America as a software engineer. Few were selected for IAS post.
