It is a virtual world of success.

Placements: I am recently pursuing B.Com (Hons.) from Shyamlal College, University of Delhi. What I have heard from my seniors is that if you have enough knowledge in your subjects, and enough confidence in yourself, you may easily get placed. Every year, many students are placed from our college. The highest package offered was 9.50 LPA, and the lowest is around 4.15 LPA. Mainly, students are placed into sales and marketing department.

A big transition from garbage to a greenery garden.

Placements: I didn't expect placements here but well-known companies like Royal Bank of Scotland, American Express, Converges, etc. came for hiring young aspirants. Many other placements opportunities were provided to the 3rd year students. It is very beneficiary for the young children to get a job easily in their college only. One who deserves will get a placement for sure. Well-established companies and firms are of great importance to the 3rd year students.

College is good for those who really want to study. Management and teachers are really cooperative.

Placements: The placements are nice for the B.A. Eco, B.Com (h) and for the B.Com (p). There are also good placements for the B.A. Eng (h). There is a placement cell in the college and is working continuously and provide good exposure to the students by providing workshops on a regular basis. Other students of different courses also get some placements, but you should have a great fortune line in your hands.

Shyam Lal College (SLC), a college of extreme excellence and provides joy in learning.

Placements: Among the various other colleges under the University of Delhi in eastern Delhi, the Shyam Lal College (SLC) is the best regarding on-campus placements with about more than 100 companies linked to its SLC's placement cell unit and other placement-related societies inside the college. Every year, more than 1000 students got placed in the SLC placement drive. The highest package offered in the year 2017 was Rs. 3.5 LPA and the lowest was Rs. 2.2 LPA.

College is developing at each & every sector. Serious work on placements & college fest is required.

Placements: The placements were not from that big companies. The companies like RBS, Concentrix and other startups come to the college. My salary package is 2.5LPA, after being placed in Concentrix. Internships were quite good, and banks like SBI and HDFC has provided this opportunity. I worked as an intern at M. Sadashiv & Associates, a CS firm and It was a quite good experience. I worked for 15 days over there and got Rs.4500. The placement cell is developing amazingly year by year. Though It still needs ...

Absolutely satisfied with the teaching faculty.

Placements: The placements were satisfactory. Most of the companies who visited our college offered a job profile either of a salesman or a BPO analyst for the commerce students. The college has its own placement cell, but it needs to work more effectively and efficiently.

A growing college in every sense.

Placements: The placements were very effective. The companies like Royal Bank of Scotland came for placement. Many big companies like Concentrix, RBS, ICICI Bank came with different job opportunities. Internships were also provided by various NGOs and child care centres.

A perfect place for exposure during college life.

Placements: Mostly BPO companies came to the campus for the placement. The Concentrix gave the package of about 2.2 lacs per annum. The RBS also came for the placement for the post of the web analyst. The package was about 2.45 lacs per annum. Only ICICI Bank came for the internship, but the placement cell is working really hard and soon they will raise the bar for placement too.

Shyam Lal College is developing every day.

Placements: There were no placements in our course. But I am aware of other courses placements which are conducted by the placement cell of our college. Students from B.Com and B.Sc courses got a few placements. Overall, placements are fine.

As a learning institution, the Shyam Lal College is the great.

Placements: Most of the students get placed. The companies which visit the college range from the Concentrix to various banks and it allows students from every field to take a chance. The salaries depend on the duration of your internship and the way you are doing it. The placements are also applicable only to the students who have cleared all their exams, and some of them demand exact scores (e.g. above 50% or 60%). There are many levels of placement, from the written paper to the group discussion to the H...

You can take admission in the college if you want to get a degree from DU.

Placements: Placements in our college are not that much good since it is an off-campus and underrated college. But with the passage of time, improvements are being made. Students and faculty are trying to find many ways to invite companies in the college, and also for the science stream. About 30% of students did an internship at the time fro our batch. These internship advertisements are given by the faculty members and the college side, which is quite helpful.

Overall, an okay college. Good in studies, okay in infrastructure.

Placements: A lot of BPOs visit the campus for placement drive, like Concentrix. Good placement opportunities if you are a commerce student. Some new startup companies also visited the college during my time. Some big companies like American Express also visited the campus but not for campus placement, only for placement exercise. So overall, okay if you want to get placed and get a salary between 15-20k.

The faculty and the infrastructure are good.

Placements: Honestly, I don't know much about placements, but all I can say is after completing a particular course well deserving ones are offered with good packages by various companies, and MNC's do visit at the end of the session. According to me the placements in the college are average.

The Shyam Lal College (University Of Delhi).

Placements: If you are a science student, then you have to go to the north campus. But, if you are a commerce student and have a good grade with required skills, then our college placement cell can help you. We have a good reputation for our placements cell for innovative students. The students can opt for the north campus placement if they wish to do be innovative.

I am satisfied with my college life. It has a good infrastructure. The average placements in 2016.

Placements: The placements for batch 2013-2016 are comparably good because the number of companies that turned up to the campus is relatively more, but most of the companies provide sales profile except one or two who offer analyst profile. Some of the reputed companies that came to the campus are RBS, ICICI Lombard, Bajaj Capital, etc.

As it is a DU college, everything is good but we cannot expect much from the faculty.

Placements: This the only advantage you get when you take admission in University of Delhi. You can apply for college placements. If your college is not going for placements, you can also apply for central placements. DU has a huge placement cell. Big companies may hire you. Wipro-like companies will pay you and provide you with a master's degree while working for them.

Brilliant infrastructure and faculty but poor placements

Placements: The placements in our college were very poor. Companies like RBS, Bata, Reebok, etc. visited our campus. But the highest package they offered was only up to 3 lakhs, so it was not worth it. Only 20% of the students got placed in out batch, which is quite low. Mainly call centre and BPO jobs were offered by the companies.

An average college with a great potential to be a good one.

Placements: The placements are not that good in this college. This year (2017), there was only one company for campus recruitment. But the placement cell of the college is developing day by day and they are working hard so that students get good placements from the college. Last year, the students got an internship at IDBI Life Insurance. RBL was there in the college for the recruitment of the final year students.

Placements: Placements were good for our batch. It was way better than our expectations and better than before. 100/540 students have been placed in well-reputed companies. The companies like RBS(Royal Bank of Scotland), American Express, Asahi India Glass Ltd. SBI Cards, ICICI Lombard, Club Mahindra, NIIT, Visual Media Monitor, Real Time Data Services, EWards , Kbc Consultant Ltd, Rocksport, ICICI Prudential, Concentrix and a few others as well. Placements: Shyam Lal College has placement cell which works day and night for placements as well as internships. The placement cell is headed by Mr. Anil Khurana (2016-17).
