I am not satisfied with this college.

Placements: In this college, students have a group on WhatsApp where they send the information about the vacancy in offices. But our college do not handle the issues of the internships.

An honest review of Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women.

Placements: I pursued B.A. honors philosophy from Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, batch (2018-2021). Students who scored above 90% get admission here. There were no packages offered as no recruiting company came here. No one got an internship from our course, and there was no specific placement related seminar in our course.

The college is very good at providing education but is average in other aspects.

Placements: The placement cell was not very active during the placements for our batch and our senior batch. The placement percentage was very low, approximately 2% of the college strength. The minimum salary offered to the students was Rs. 8000 per month and the maximum salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month.

Dissatisfied like with everything. Nothing amazing.

Placements: No idea regarding placements. There are no placements as such in my circle till now. I don't know about any placement cell as well. Even if there are some of the placement associations in the college, I am not aware of it. But to my knowledge, no companies come in out college to hire students.

No proper arrangement for classes and teachers speak in regional language i.e., Bengali so it becomes hard for non-Bengali students to understand what they are trying to say. I would recommend students not to join this college as they will not be able to enjoy their college life and the main thing they won't be getting proper education.
