Beautiful Shyama with best infrastructure and best facilities.

Placements: 37 students were there in my major as Economics and 11 in minor, which was Sociology. The highest package offered in my course was 5 Lacs per annum, and the lowest was 3 Lacs per annum. 50 percent of students got internships. Students got placed in my course. Companies like Nestlé and Tata came to our college.

B.Sc. Hons mathematics in SPM Delhi University .

Placements: I do not think even 10% of students got placed because most of the students opted for higher education, not jobs. But yes, many cleared the IIT JAM exam and got admission to NIT and Delhi University itself. The companies that came for placement were offering target-based jobs and 9-10 hour workdays with below 3 LPA. Although some students got internships at platforms like Chegg. But do not worry, we have the opportunity to go to any Delhi University college job fair, which almost every college o...

Totally dissatisfied because of placement, faculty members were not that much corporate.

Placements: In my batch, there were a total of around 130 students, and none of them were placed in any company. The college was providing internship details, and if you want to do one, you can go through the procedure. But there were no on-campus placements. Most of the students opted for further studies like MCA or M.Sc. in Computer Science.

Good placement, hygienic food, knowledgeable and supportive teachers, and internships provided.

Placements: During the course period, we get a chance to enroll ourselves to join the internship programmes. Afterwards, at the beginning, we get a certificate and gradually we get a permanent job to work under the DU faculty in any programmes. I got enrolled in the UBA programme, which provides us job opportunities too.

My life at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, Delhi University.

Placements: Placement cell is not very active in my college. However, the placement cell provides some opportunities, such as small placements and internships, which are beneficial for students to gain new experiences. Small companies recruit students, mostly in the fields of economics and mathematics. I believe the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, not more than that.

Decent infrastructure and facilities, Good Faculty.

Placements: After pursuing B.A. (Hons) in English most students go for higher studies and do not sit for placements. Students have to make an effort to grab opportunities regarding internships. As the course is not really industry oriented, it is hard to comment on the placements. Instead of looking for on campus placements, graduates should look for jobs on online job platform and freelance website.
