Placements: Internships are not very good because a minimum number of students have information. Placements were good in 2023. At that time, more than 20 students got placements in this college in good companies. They got good packages.
Placements: All over, it's decent. Especially in the Department of Computer Science. If you are diligent enough, surely you will get plenty of good opportunities. The placement percentage is around 67%. The top companies are Uber, etc. So go ahead and try it once; you will surely not be disappointed.
Placements: Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College offers mostly B.A. courses, and I don't think B.A. students apply for companies. The second reason behind low placements in college is the lower practical labs and research work, except academics teaching, journalism, publishing, etc. Mostly offered in our courses.
Placements: I am from batch 2024-25. Till now, we don't have any clue about how much placement is there for this course, but I must say that this college faculty and teachers are very helpful. It's amazing to study there. This college offers many courses, and some companies come for internships.
Placements: There is not so good placement in my college. There are internships available, but only a few students take it. The roles offered are managing posts. The highest package offered is maybe 6 to 8 Lacs approximately. But all students don’t receive a placement. The percentage for placement is low.
Placements: Placement records are not so good and options are limited. Around 20% of students get placed in the economics department, mostly in private schools and some MNCs. The highest package was 4 LPA, the lowest was 1.5 LPA, and the average package was around 2.5 LPA.
Placements: In my course, there are no such placement offers as such; in history, we need to pursue higher studies to get any placement and just graduation won't help in getting placement anywhere. So can't really say much about the placement in the college or course.
Placements: Being an off-campus college, SPM College does not provide a wide variety of placement offers and also the offers come from small companies with an annual income of not more than 3-4 Lacs. The biggest companies that come to our college are Amazon and Wipro. Mostly roles of analyst and management-related are offered.
Placements: Limited opportunities with mostly content writing roles available; not ideal for skill development and growth. Growth is there; better opportunities should be available for better placements and better college life and ROI for college and growth opportunities .
Placements: If I talk about it comparatively from last year, then it was quite better this time. No placements happened last year, but last year companies came to college and the highest package was 5 LPA. The companies were start-ups only. In my course, there weren't many companies for. More companies were for sales and marketing. Roles for my course were in web development.
Placements: As I have not completed my course yet, I don't know much about the placement and average package, but I have heard that college placement is not very good. College has a placement cell for the placement. However, I am not enrolled in it so I am not updated about it.
Placements: I do not think even 10% of students got placed because most of the students opted for higher education, not jobs. But yes, many cleared the IIT JAM exam and got admission to NIT and Delhi University itself. The companies that came for placement were offering target-based jobs and 9-10 hour workdays with below 3 LPA. Although some students got internships at platforms like Chegg. But do not worry, we have the opportunity to go to any Delhi University college job fair, which almost every college o...
Placements: Placement cell is not very active in my college. However, the placement cell provides some opportunities, such as small placements and internships, which are beneficial for students to gain new experiences. Small companies recruit students, mostly in the fields of economics and mathematics. I believe the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, not more than that.
Placements: During my batch (2021-24), there were around 62 students in our course Geography Hons. Genuinely, if I tell you the truth, there are no such placements for Geography Honors students, but also the placements at our college are not so good. But our department (geography) always conducts various seminars and lectures for students related to discipline.
Placements: Our college is not that good in placements. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. I am not satisfied with the placements but it's all about government college. It's DU, so the hype is all about it. The college should work on the recruitment and internships.
Placements: I'm doing BA political science at this college and they offer many practical activities to participate in with field visits, etc. They send us to many field visits as interns, and DU provides many internships within the course enrollment period. We get to learn a lot of things.
Placements: I was a Non-Collegiate student there through NCWEB and pursued a B.Com programme. Amazon did the campus drive there for the Customer Support Executive profile. They gave equal chances to all the students there were multiple grounds for the same. Many students got placed in around 3 to 4 LPA packages.
Placements: Overall, placements are good, although I do not have specific information about packages since I have not attended any placement cell programs. The packages range from low to middle range. The main roles offered in our course are teacher, educator, and consultant, as it is primarily oriented towards the education field. However, students can obtain various roles as well.
Placements: The college attracts a wide range of recruiting companies and also tries to provide internship opportunities along with job placements. About 35-40% of students get jobs and internships in my course, while other students opt for government jobs (teaching professions).
Placements: There are total 60 students in my batch. Ngos and some of the small companies come for recruitment for this course. 40% to 50% students get recruited. There are government initiated internships in which the students get recruited by interview and LOR.
