Excellent placements in 2017.
Placements: The college provides nearly 100% placement. Two or four students were left because they opted for further studies like masters in dairy technology. Many multi-national companies and co-operative dairy in Gujarat visit the college to provide placements. Some of them are Mother Dairy, Fruit and Vegetable Pvt. Ltd., from Delhi, Pepsi.Co from India, Sumul Dairy from Surat, Amul Dairy, Anand, CP Ingredients Ltd., from Ireland, Dudhdhara Dairy, Vasudhara Dairy, Vizee Vegetable Ltd., Baroda, and many others visit the college to provide placements.
Infrastructure: SMC College of Dairy Science provides hostel facility at a minimal fee. The hostel also provides food to the students. The college has four different laboratories like a dairy chemistry lab, dairy microbiology lab, a dairy unit handled by students, mechanical workshop, etc.
Faculty: 75% of the professors in SMC College of Dairy Science have completed PhD in their field. Every class has around 70 students so that the strength of faculty and students is comparatively good. The students participated in national and state level competitions. The students take part in sports and NSS activities. Students are also given 'farmers awareness programme'.

It is one and only college of the dairy technology in all of Gujarat which is also highly reputed.
Placements: There are 100% placements in the reputed organisations, and the Amul federation and NDDB are also recruiting students, and also, many other MNCs like Nestle, Mother Dairy, Paras Dairy, GEA, IDMC, Tetrapak companies are recruiting the students. And I want to tell that here in SMC college, the placement of the students is 100%.
Infrastructure: There is a well-designed infrastructure with digital classrooms, fully facilitated labs and plant for the practical knowledge, Wi-Fi and a library with 50,000 books. Also, PG and UG students are doing their training in the college's own dairy known as the Vidhya Dairy. This college is also situated near the Anand Agriculture University, Anand, Gujarat.
Faculty: In this college, 1 stream is there for the dairy technology with a 4-year course and a PG also. Also, this college has its own plant known as Vidhya Dairy, and the college students operate this dairy. This dairy is the no.1 hygienic dairy in the whole of Asia. There is a 4-year course, in which 3-year is for theory and 1 year of the training session.
Other: This campus is situated on the university campus in Anand, Gujarat. Also, NSS and NCC is present here with Icar scholarships and also the Gujarat government scholarships for the students.

SMC is the number one dairy science college in India.
Placements: There are very good placements. Almost 100 percent is achieved every year. Last year, it was 100 percent. There are a lot of opportunities in the corporate sector as well as in multinational companies. Last time, from all over India, nearly 15 companies had come and recruited the students.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi facility is there in the hostel. The classrooms are well-equipped with modern facilities like a/c. The CCTV cameras are there. The library is also very good. The medical facilities are also available here for free of cost. The infrastructure of the college is good.
Faculty: The course is a four-year course, and the college offers a B.Tech dairy technologist degree. Here, the teachers are knowledgeable, and everything here is being taught with ppts. The teachers help each and every student.

How to get admission in SMC College of Dairy Science for PG Diploma in dairy and food quality assurance?

Hi Harsh, You can apply online for the admission with required information. The eligible applicant must appear in entrance test. The basis of selection of candidate for the admission shall be the merit.

Is JEE merit considered for 2017-18 admission for Gujarat candidates?

Hello Harsh, Yes, JEE merit is considered while calculating the merit list for engineering seats for Gujarat quota. It is unclear to me in which context are you trying to ask.
