Review of SMIT - Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim Manipal University.
Placements: There were 100% placements in our batch. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. I opted for off-campus placements. Top recruiting company for our course was Microsoft. Almost everyone secured an internship/placement. The developer was the top role offered in our course.
Infrastructure: It has an amazing infrastructure and state-of-the-art facilities throughout the campus. Amazing food court, gym, tennis court, and student-friendly facilities that cater to everyday needs of people living on the campus are available. The campus is Wi-Fi-enabled and provides adequate internet connectivity for student usage.
Faculty: We have one of the best faculty in the ECE branch. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders and knowledgeable persons. The curriculum is designed in such a way that covers the latest on-experience and the need of the companies coming for placements.
Other: The course caters to the best and acts as a bridge between electronics and computer science. The hands-on experience is provided with multiple labs and practical knowledge on the subjects.
