Good teachers and curriculum, could work more on the facilities for students.
Placements: Internships opportunities and Certificate courses are plenty. There are several credit courses as well, although time consuming but quite enriching. Around 85% students get internships in the final year. Around 65 % students get placed in the final year with the starting package of 3 lacs and so on.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and the classes represent a classic pink British style. There is a central lawn and auditorium as well. The well decorated arches and intricately designed pillars add to the charm. There is a canteen with coffee and juice shops as well. There is a sports club also with a basketball court on campus. Wi-Fi is there in the library and in the hostel as well. But the hostel infrastructure is quite old and there are little to no developments. Students do not have much privacy or cleanliness in the hostel and it feels more like a boarding school than a college hostel. There is a hostel mess as well which serves 4 meals.
Faculty: The teachers have completed their Masters and some have completed their Ph.D. as well. They are all well qualified and quite helpful. The curriculum is quite relevant, easy to understand and practical aslo. Some teachers are young and more relatable while some are experienced and help us in ways that the younger ones cannot.
Other: The fest kaleidoscope which rights up the entire campus with light, food stalls, game stalls, big celebrities and exciting competitions is a must see.

There is a decent library in this college. Canteen is available. A stationery shop is also available. There is a central lawn on our campus.
Faculty: Our department is very good. All teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. It is an autonomous college. The syllabus is relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass marks are 20 out of 50.
Other: Scholarships are provided to merit students. This college organises its women-led fest named Kaleidoscope. Various clubs are available such as the literary society, sports club, Sanskrit Parishad, and Marathi club.

It is a college that builds you as a person. You can gain experiences beyond academics and grow.
Placements: In the year 2021, Sophia was considered the second-best college in Mumbai for arts. It is still one of the best. Most of the arts courses do not yield an immediate job after graduation, still, Sophia has got its placement cell that provides internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Sophia is quite famous for its canteen as told by people who got to attend offline classes before the pandemic. The building is beautiful. I am not sure but I had heard that it used to be a palace before. However, the hostel has a very limited number of seats.
Faculty: History and literature faculty members are the best considering arts. Psychology is also a renowned course in Sophia. Teachers here are very helpful. Most of the art students wish to pursue single majors in psychology further in the third year- however, there are only 24 seats for Psychology.

Blessed to be an Alumni from Sophia College for Women.
Placements: We were exposed to visits as well as exposures to many organisations, involved with the field. It was quite enriching to move out of the college zone and learn new things. The college is also one of the best in Mumbai, which aptly reflects on one's CV.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is amazing. It is a delight to be in this space, and quality of food available, as well as other services, are top-notch. The library, IT Labs, Classrooms are well-equipped. Apart from these, the college is beautifully set up, which makes it a little world of its own.
Faculty: B.A. in Psychology was a beautiful course to be in. The guidance provided by the faculty, reinforced by a varied range of teaching techniques allows students to explore their knowledge pertaining to the subject. The course is thoroughly relevant and sets a foundation for the next transition of higher studies.
Other: Sophia hosts a spectrum of fests, the famous one being Kaleidoscope and has its own MUN, called Munsophical. These are the trademark events hosted by the college. Apart from these, the college all hosts, a range of inter-departmental activities and also encourages sports. The college also offers an Excellence in Arts/Science Programme (EXAP/EXSP). This course has a rigorous procedure of selecting the students who manage to crack the levels and giving them a golden opportunity to challenge themselves and orient to research and paper presentations.
