Placements: The college is very supportive, and a good number of companies come for placements. A maximum number of students get into core companies, with an average starting salary of eight lakhs per annum. The college has a vibrant placement team that provides special training to students before they go for drives. Every student is well aware of the placement training, and the placement team provides every student with opportunities to participate in group discussions and interviews with corporate trainers.

Infrastructure: The college helped me develop my confidence and learn how to focus. It also helped me discover new things. The college facilities are top-notch, and the classrooms have excellent facilities. The living spaces are clean and have lots of greenery. The food is delicious, and the campus is a great place to study and enjoy the outdoors.

Faculty: The curriculum at this college. It gets updated every one or two years to reflect the latest trends and patterns in the field. The teaching faculty members are experienced and helpful, and most of them are currently pursuing PhDs in their fields. While a few of them have already earned their PhDs, they continue to serve as advisors to students, assigning them tasks and helping them with publications or other work. The classes are taught by regular teachers, and they revise their notes on time, which is a great help to us for exams. In addition, the college allows students plenty of time for course co-curricular activities, developing projects, and research.

Other: I really enjoy learning new skills at this college. The college provides a lot of skill enhancement programming right from the first year, including communication skills classes, special coding classes, and an IEDC cell that makes students strong in innovation and entrepreneurial skills.

Placements: Our college provides big companies and also high packages like 14 lakhs and low packages like 3 lakhs. I am very happy with our college because they give us technical training and also help us get into good companies. I recommend everyone to join this college. The big companies like Wipro and Deloitte recruit from here.

Infrastructure: Our college has many Wi-Fi connections, the labs are excellent, classrooms are digital, and the library is very good and has many books. If we want to play, we can play. The college also has a hospital room with a good doctor. College hostels are very excellent and luxurious.

Faculty: We have the best teachers and the pass percentage is 69%. Faculty have PhDs and they are well-skilled. They follow the curriculum and complete the syllabus before the time. They are very supportive and it is very helpful with the best teaching methods.

Placements: Placements are ongoing as I’m currently in the final year of my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) at Sphoorthy Engineering College. While there isn’t an exact placement percentage available, various companies are actively recruiting us. TCS is expected to visit soon, offering roles like Software Development Engineer (SDE), Data Analyst, Android Developer, and AI Developer. The highest package so far is 14 LPA, the lowest is 2.9 LPA, and the average package is around 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college offers a range of facilities, including numerous classrooms with good ventilation, boards, and projectors that faculty use regularly. The library is open during college hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The canteen food quality is average, and for medical support, we have a doctor available at all times. The campus includes a large football field, basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball, and badminton courts, along with a gym and indoor games like carrom, chess, and table tennis.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and highly qualified, with many having pursued higher studies at reputable institutions, and some are currently working on their PhDs. They can explain complex concepts and algorithms in a clear and smooth manner, which makes learning easier.

Other: I chose this course (AI & ML) because of the increasing demand in emerging technologies and the critical need for developers in this field. The course provides a solid foundation and introduces new concepts essential for this industry. I think it would be beneficial to cover basic CS topics in the first year and reduce non-CS subjects that don’t directly relate to our field. The college hosts numerous events like Annual Day, Farewell Day, Freshers’ Day, and festivals, which include music, dance, and other cultural activities.

Placements: The students who scored above 75% are getting placed in different companies. Top recruiting companies for the AIML branch are Wipro, Infosys, TCS, CloudTaru, Oracle, Pebs Pennar Solar Pvt. Ltd., Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Infotech, etc. Machine learning engineer, research engineer, business intelligence, AI data analyst, etc. The highest package is 16 LPA, the average package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The students with around a 7.5 CGPA got internships from companies like Accenture, Deloitte, Oracle, HP, etc.

Infrastructure: Coming to faculty, some staff members are good at teaching and knowledge, and some are good at knowledge, but they are not able to teach properly. There is no access to use Wi-Fi for students, but they can use it in labs. The classrooms are also clean and neat. There is a huge library on campus; any branch students can avail themselves of all types of books. There is no hostel facility for boys, but for girls it is there. The food in the canteen is not bad. They eventually conduct sports for only 1st-year students on Saturday.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful in gaining a better knowledge. Some staff members have done their Ph.D.s in their respective fields. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and it can make the students ready for the industry on the interest of students. If the students can focus on their studies, they can score good marks and can maintain a good percentage.

Other: I chose this course because of my finding of information about different branches. I came to a point that this is the best platform from the CSE group. They conduct only freshers and annual day celebrations. Other than these, there is no scope to expect fests from the college. The ground is very clean, and the surroundings are attractive. We need to apply scholarships based on reservation.
