Review of Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering.

Placements: Placements in our college were decent. Very few mechanic companies visited the campus as compared to the other IT companies. Companies such as Infosys, TCS, MuSigma, MRF, Tata Elxsi, to name a few visited the campus for recruitment. The eligibility criteria to attend placement drives is students should not have any backlog papers.

A good college with good placements in the IT field, but the politics in college were the worst.

Placements: A lot of placements are provided for IT students, but very few companies visited the college for the mechanical branch. About 70% of the students get placed every year. The salaries offered range from Rs. 30,000 to 60,000. Hr, technician, etc., are the roles offered. There was an efficient CGPU unit with an expert sir.

The best and memorable days of my college.

Placements: The placement percentage of our college is good. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Accenture, Infosys visit the college for the interview. Around 60% of students are placed every year. Good placements, 4 years of joy and freedom, learning is poor, but life lessons are there.

Placements: There are plenty of placements related to IT field. The core placements are minimal. Career guidance and placement unit(CGPU) is quite helpful in bringing companies to the campus. Shri Upendra Kumar, head of the automobile department is the person leading the CGPU cell. Working along with him gives a good exposure.

Review of SCTCE Papanamcodu,Trivandrum

Placements: Good placements, especially in IT companies. Many students are recruited. Except in the field of biotech, all others are receiving placements. In case of the biotech degree, there are less companies in India, even though a number of students are getting placements in core companies itself. A good number of students get placed in IT companies as well.

Placements: Major companies which visited: Mu Sigma, TCS, Oracle and Accenture. Placements were adequate. No exact recollection of packages offered, but the average was 3 LPA. Roles were primarily software engineering roles with a few accounting and data analysis roles. No idea about stipends or internships.

Enjoy your maximum college life. High rated college with good placements. Only thing is everyone have to study themselves, because faculty members are as name implies just facilitators. College is located in prime location and no need to worry about access to public transport.

The college has got a good placement unit but lacks in infrastructure. The faculty is good. There is no hostel or college playground facility. However, the life at this college is just awesome. The college mini canteen is a getaway from those boring lectures. All the four political parties are active, so basically, there is no ragging as such.

Placements: Im a CSE student, and I think from my course 20 or 30% of students has got into companies using placements. A lot of companies do visit my college for placements. Top companies were also included in it. The highest will be 75% and the lowest would be 10%.
