This college helps you in various faculties.
Placements: Placements are at a good level because this college is hiring companies like Accenture and other renowned companies are hiring knowledgeable individuals. Nearly all placements are good in this college. In the year 2023, students of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, New Delhi, got direct campus placements in top companies like Wipro, Genpact, Airtel, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and more.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good because the drinking water facility is good, and the college canteen is also good. This college also has PG facilities for students who want to stay in PG. It has one of the best infrastructures in the whole of Delhi University. Starting from a well-constructed common area to a brilliant library with books available for all courses and a well-serviced canteen area. The college also has a gym. The campus is so big and yet so well-defined that no place feels congested even with a large number of students at any point in time.
Faculty: Extracurricular activities are also good compared to other colleges. The faculty of our college is tremendously good. They are very understanding and supportive of the students. There are several old teachers who have been serving the college for a long time, while some of them have recently joined the college. Teachers are from different backgrounds, including the Department of Commerce, Economics, Punjab, Computer Science, etc. Most of the teachers add "Dr." to their names, which shows they have a Ph.D. in the specified subjects. There are many courses like B.Com (Programme), B.Com Honours, BMS, CS Honours, etc. The teachers are exceptionally talented; some of the teachers also write their own subject books. They all come from a reputed background, and the college supports the PWD Quota teachers. Their teaching style is also very good. They also provide us with notes for each chapter, tell us about the important topics, and share their teaching experience.
Other: I am in a college where I feel that there are no stationary shops nearby or no other shops… or no fest is organized in the auditorium here. But there is a mall just below the metro from where you can do shopping; hence the mall is a little far away because it is on another metro.

Is SGGSCC worth it? A big YES !
Placements: In 2023, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (SGGSCC) concluded its placement drive with over 350 students securing a placement and about 390 receiving an offer letter. With 75 companies participating, the average placement package was 5.49 LPA and the highest package offered was 36.5 LPA by Trilogy Innovation. Major recruiters include EY, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, BCG, etc. The Training and Placement Cell also regularly organizes the Internship Fiesta to provide growth-boosting opportunities to the students, including the freshers, for internships at famous institutions to provide strong corporate exposure.
Infrastructure: The college provides a hostel for girls but there are no provisions for any hostel services for boys currently. As per the girls, the hostel provides all the necessities and facilities for a healthy stay outside their hometown or home. The college also provides top-class facilities like better-installed computer labs, a library where services like issue, return, and reissue can be done directly by the student through his ID card. The college just lacks in Wi-Fi facilities but it will soon be going to get resolved.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified in their respective subjects and are also very helpful and kind towards the students. They use a variety of teaching methods in order to instill newer concepts into the brains of the students for better learning. The course curriculum is also relevant and is future-proof for the students. It makes the students a bit ready for the corporate world. The semester exams held at an interval of 5–6 months are also a piece of cake for those who have their concepts clear.
Other: The college has a variety of societies for the betterment of student groups as a whole. Societies like ENACTUS SGGSCC, the Finance and Investment Cell, Rotaract, the Training and Placement Cell, etc. are famous throughout Delhi University. The crowd is good too, as you will find people with intellectual brains and excellent brain-storming skills. The connectivity to the college is provided to be good. A bus station and Netaji Subhash Place Metro station are within walking distance. Overall, the college is good.

The overall experience was good but the TOC for the 2024 batch was pathetic .
Placements: Although the college campus and its infrastructure were very good, the placement cell process was very poor. The companies that were bought on campus were not effectively engaged. The college claims in its brochure that these companies visited, but the truth is they didn't hire a single student. No proper hiring process was followed, reflecting the poor conditions of training and placement.
Infrastructure: The condition of all classes was good; all classes were fully centralized with air conditioning. None of the other colleges have these facilities. The gurdwara was very beautiful. But assets of sports room was pathetic No medical emergency equipment was there in the medical room; even the bandages were not there.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful; they consider you their child. Lamba sirand Satvinder Kaur ma'am's nature was very good and they helped a lot. You can ask for any help from them. They also help you with any attendance issues.
Other: I have chosen a B.Com. course here and some teachers were good but some are not even bothered with the time of classes, coming 30–40 minutes late to the class and then taking a full 1-hour class, especially Nirmal Singh for economics.
