The placements and faculty are good. Infrastructure can be pretty better.

Placements: The placements are good, and they train us a lot for placement. Many people from my batch and my senior batch got placed. The highest salary package offered is 18.5 lakhs by Amazon, and the lowest is 1.5 lakhs. Odessa, Amazon, Soliton, CTS, Wipro, Infosys are the companies that visited my campus. I got an offer in Odessa.

The college is good for bachelor study, but only the best for IT placements.

Placements: At present, only IT companies are visiting for the placement. A few core companies conduct off-campus for a mechanical and electrical department. The placement training is good, but it is only useful for IT placement companies. I recommend to the people to join, and it is good for studies, but the placements are better for IT and CSE peoples.

There is still more works to be done here. But on an average every thing is up to mark here.

Placements: Almost 80% got placed every year, with average salary of 2.5 Lacs per annum. The highest salary of 18 Lacs per annum, which was offered by amazon, and the lowest was of 2 Lacs per annum. Over 60 companies visited namely Amazon, Zoho, Infosis, Wipro and many more. 10% got internship in various companies from final year. With stipend of 15- 30 thousand per month. Here we have separate placement cell which usually starts giving training from second year it self so I think its worthful.

Satisfied with the faculty and placements.

Placements: The placements are not good for the mechanical department. Only, few core companies come and recruit 2-3 students per year, but in IT sector. 50% of the students get placed every year. The average salary package offered was 6 lacs per year. There is a placement cell which is useful for the students only if you want to get placed in IT sector but not in the core.

I am satisfied with my B.E college life.

Placements: The college is having above average placement. About 60% of the students in the final year got placed from the college. The highest package came around was about Rs. 7 LPA and the lowest package was around Rs. 1.5 LPA. The companies like the Roots, Pricol, San Engineering, Infosys, etc. visited the campus for the placements. No one got an internship from the college, and the students had to find the internship on their own. There was also a placement cell which was effective in placing the stude...

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty. Good placements in 2016.

Placements: The placements are good in the previous batch. Amazon, Bosch, Wipro, CTS, etc. are the companies that have visited the college. The highest and the lowest average salary offered per year is Rs. 16,00,000-Rs. 4,00,000. 95 percent of students got internships from the college. The placements are not high for core companies, but for IT, there are a lot of companies offered.

Very good management, friendly faculty and alumni in all field.

Placements: The best placement in IT companies, and also good placement for core companies like mechanical and ECE. The placement trainers come from big companies. There is a good placement cell. The faculty of the placement cell have better teaching techniques. High paying companies like Amazon also visit the campus and offer up to Rs. 12,000 per month.

Not exactly satisfied by the placements and faculty's knowledge. But it was until we got graduated.

Placements: The placements are offered to the talented and deserved students. Top MNCs like Infosys, Wipro, CTS, and Accenture comes under Day 1 placements. Nearly 8.2 out of 10 people got placed. The highest salary was 8 lakhs per annum, and the lowest salary was 3-4 lakhs per annum. Off-campus MNCs like TCS, Laursen and Turbo, Microsoft, Johnson and Johnson, Soliton, and Global edge also were in the list of placements in our college.

Pros and cons of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College

Placements: Placements are not so high. Especially there are very few placements for core companies. But for IT companies, there are a lot of placements. So when it comes to placement you cannot look for a core company. If you want to get placed immediately after studies please don't choose this college.

Satisfied for the learning happened at SREC, IT placements are very good.

Placements: In mechanical, we were the worst hit as we only got one or two core companies. Rest all were only IT companies. Most of my batch mates in mechanical did not get a job due to the recession in the filed of mechanical engineering. Internship opportunities are plenty in SREC. Our college staffs and the departments help students in getting a intern. Its good for IT field students who take up computer science and IT are lucky though because we get lot of good companies for recruitment. ...

Good college, less fees, good infrastructure, decent faculty, better placement, peaceful environment

Placements: Placement is not that bad because as compared to other colleges Ramakrishna is better. The average salary was around 3 lakhs. Infosys, Wipro, Zoho, Soliton, Pricol, L&T etc. came. Most of the companies were IT companies. Placement percentage is around 30%. No internship opportunities. Few students got internship opportunities with their own effort. We cannot complain about this because it was really not a good scenario in 2014. Ramakrishna did well, I have to appreciate it. I hope they will i...

Average placements and average education, but excellent student freedom

Placements: The placements are just mediocre as the placement department works really hard to get the students placed but they fail to improve the students' "employability". All they do is give hefty training on aptitude questions without realising that the students are not technically strong in their core subjects. With a slightly modified and lame syllabus from Anna University, the college does not provide any quality education.

Career Development and Placement Division serves as a link between the corporates and the students for placements. The staff members are not very friendly and the culture too. You will have a tough time in college in areas of discipline. Provides soft skills training like language enhancement, personality development, language certification training, verbal, logical, quantitative aptitude etc. Hostel life is still miserable as the rules are very rigid. Training programs are conducted for the fin...

The College is located in Vattamalaipalayam. It’s located in interior area, so the Government bus facility is not good. The College has best faculty team. It’s basically a student oriented college so the faculty team is most supportive to students. Strict rules are followed inside the campus. No use of mobile phones. Less attendance percentage will lead one to discontinue the college. The Placement training program is so good. The Placements in Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College is the best. Lo...

Good college with good teaching faculty, who have hands on experience both in theory and practical knowledge. Will have a good environment with good friends from the city of Coimbatore and you can enjoy a lot in this city. Placements are offered and at maximum all eligible students get placed. Good and well reputed companies come for placements and offer a very good salary package.
