Placements in the college are good, and the infrastructure is great.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Reliable placement opportunities were offered to the students with a good CGPA. The college assures almost 90% placements. Top companies like Dell, Zoho Corp, Akamai etc., visited our campus for recruitment. The placement cell was approachable. If you become a coordinator in the placement cell, then you will get the best experience.

Review of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Kanchipuram.

Placements: The placements for the circuit branches are great. Almost all the students of these branches get placed. Nearly 60 companies visit the campus to recruit students from these branches. The packages offered varied from 2 LPA to 21 LPA, and the packages depend on the role and company. For non-circuit branches, placements are average. Almost 2 to 8 core companies visit the campus to recruit students from these branches. The packages offered varied between 2 LPA to 8 LPA. We do have a placement cell w...

It is a good college with good faculty, but can be improved when compared to the current situation.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. The number of intakes or selection in the core industry is less when compared to IT industries. So the intake is high only in IT. Placements for the biotech branch are poor and very low for the chemical branch also. Not many core companies approached for placements this time when compared to the previous years.

Review of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Kanchipuram.

Placements: The college conducts special coaching classes for coding and aptitude classes. We also have a massive mock interview prior to placements in the third year, which was really useful and helped us a lot in gaining insight about placements. More than 100 companies visit Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering to offer placements.

The college can do better if it supports students.

Placements: SVCE is the best college for placements. Companies related to all streams arrive at the campus. Students are allowed to choose one from multiple offers. The placement cell provides training to the students. In addition to that, mock placement drives are also conducted in the pre-final year.

There could have been more events and fests. Disappointed that it's not that way.

Placements: Placements in the college were really good this time. Most of the students in CS and IT got placed. Students are taking up internships during their second year and are doing well. Teachers and the placement officer is taking very good care of placements and are making sure that most of the students get placed.

SVCE runs because of the placement officer.

Placements: There were many placement opportunities provided by the college in the field of IT and core. The placement officer made sure that every student got placed somewhere. Placements were very good for the senior batch as well. Every student in both our batches got placed.

SVCE - Evolving a man into Engineer!

Placements: The Placement for 2015 batch was better than the previous senior batch due to the recession time in IT industry. In 2015, around 900 people opted for placement and 99% got placed in a well reputable MNCs. The Placement cell was helpful to the students in order to avoid the off campus recruitment.

Placements: Our college have good placement only on IT fields and the placement training is also provided for all department student in according to getting job in a IT company. Around 250 companies are coming for placement every year only 5 to 10 core companies are welcomed and only 10 to 15 students are placed over 300 students. Highly satisfied with the great faculty and good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were pretty good. Most of my friends and seniors got good placements in service-based firms and few deserving people were placed in core companies. The highest salary offered was around 12 lakhs per annum and the average pay is somewhere around 3 to 4 lakhs.

A very good place to study. The staff members are friendly. You could find almost all the books inside the library. The placements are very good for B.E students as compared to post graduates. I will recommend B.E course as it will definitely get you placed in a good company.

The college is situated on the NH4 Chennai Bangalore Highway and has been providing education for around 30 years. The main benefactor of the institution is its campus. The campus has been properly planned and built with adequate flora throughout the campus. The atmosphere in the campus cannot be related to an ordinary college atmosphere. The campus also has Wi-Fi facilities available that are accessible for a certain fee. The other main advantage of the institution is the well-advanced lab faci...

The college has lost all its shine. The faculty only cares about students passing or getting marks and not learning well. Extra-curricular activities are not encouraged. One doesn't easily get on duty's leave. Culturals and sports are not encouraged. Students generally come to college for getting a degree. You get an average sport for technical events. But some faculty members are quite good. Labs are well equipped. Placements are quite good. Mechanical, computer science, automobile, marine Dept...

Better for Placement opportunity, Campus life is really good.

Placements: In our college, 90% of students were placed in my course. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA, the average package is 5 LPA and the highest package is 15 LPA. Zoho, IBM, Oracle, Deloitte, Mckinsey, TCS, Virtusa, Accenture, Infosys, CTS are top recruiting companies. You have to pay 40,000 rupees extra for placement without including college fees. 95% of students got internship from Zoho, Facilio, Virtusa, Azentio, Qube Cinema etc.

SVCE is a good place for education as well fun. You can expect a lot of good memories.

Placements: Many IT companies and good core companies used to recruit here. Almost 92% of the students are getting placed every year. The college also supports the students for their higher studies and they offer various training programs as well. The campus is very lenient. You don't have to worry about bringing phones into the class unless you don't use it during class hours.

If you have planned for higher studies after UG, then this college is a good option.

Placements: Many top companies are offering IT jobs here, but for core companies and jobs in biotechnology are not that great. Many chemical-based companies recruit biotechnology students. It is better to opt for higher studies than going for placements.

It is a good college with a high fee.

Placements: I don't know about the percentage of the students who got placed. Most of the students who opted for placements got placed in good companies. The salary package offered starts from 2-8 LPA. The top recruiter company for biotech is Zifo R&D only. For IT, core companies like Infosys, Accenture, Ford, Amazon, Zoho, HCl and Capgemini are top recruiters, but still, there are many recruiters for each department which I am not aware. The website might have a list of recruiting companies.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement cell is good in training the students to prepare for their placements. The highest salary for last year is 20 Lacs per annum. Some of the companies require full stack developer and others are giving preference to some framework technologies example: Angular.

This college is good for placements and training as well.

Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered is 1 lac per month, whereas the lowest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. Only Sanmor company has been visiting our college for the past 6 years for placements. I don't know exactly about top roles offered in our course, but they send us to Cochin Shipyard for training for 6 months in 6th semester.
