It is a good college with good faculty, but can be improved when compared to the current situation.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. The number of intakes or selection in the core industry is less when compared to IT industries. So the intake is high only in IT. Placements for the biotech branch are poor and very low for the chemical branch also. Not many core companies approached for placements this time when compared to the previous years.

Join SVCE to gain knowledge and get offers.

Placements: The college provides 99% placements for sure. The placed students will get the minimum package of 3.25 LPA. The highest package offered was 10 LPA. Data analytics, software developer, networks, cyber security, marketing and sales, app and web developer, almost all types of roles are offered to the students. Till now, almost 80% of the students got placed, but many more companies visit the campus in the next year, i.e., in our last semester. Product-based companies visit the campus. Internships a...

It is a good college for graduation. We can come out with flying colors here.

Placements: The college provides wonderful placement opportunities. We just have to work and build our skills to utilise the platform. The placement rate of the college is about 90%-95%. Almost every eligible deserving student gets placed in some company. The salary packages offered varied from 3 LPA to 15 LPA, and it is a very good salary package for a fresher. The companies that are visiting our campus also offer good internships and stipends. They offered a stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month. The internship...

The infrastructure of the college is good. There were very good placements till 2018.

Placements: Many companies will be visiting for placements starting from your 7th semester. The maximum number of companies are from the IT industry, and till now 95% of students from the IT branch have got placed while one or two remaining students were not eligible. You must clear your papers from semester 1 and get some coding knowledge and good communication skills, which is more than enough to get placed.

Good placements with excellent infrastructure and lab facilities.

Placements: Placements were really good for our senior batch, and they are currently going on for our batch. In our senior batch, 85% of the students were placed in core companies and the other 15% in IT field. The highest package offered was 7.50 lacs per annum by Vedanta and the lowest was 4 lacs per annum. Vedanta, Saint Gobain, Dow Chemicals, Thirumalai Chemicals, and Sunmark were a few companies that visited the campus for placements last year. This year Vedanta and Saint Gobain have visited the campus...

Review of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Kanchipuram.

Placements: The college conducts special coaching classes for coding and aptitude classes. We also have a massive mock interview prior to placements in the third year, which was really useful and helped us a lot in gaining insight about placements. More than 100 companies visit Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering to offer placements.

The college can do better if it supports students.

Placements: SVCE is the best college for placements. Companies related to all streams arrive at the campus. Students are allowed to choose one from multiple offers. The placement cell provides training to the students. In addition to that, mock placement drives are also conducted in the pre-final year.

There could have been more events and fests. Disappointed that it's not that way.

Placements: Placements in the college were really good this time. Most of the students in CS and IT got placed. Students are taking up internships during their second year and are doing well. Teachers and the placement officer is taking very good care of placements and are making sure that most of the students get placed.

Placements: Placements in Sri Venkateswara College receive major reputation. Major tech, start-ups and IT companies like Accenture, Freshworks visit here for placement drives. Almost 98% of candidates who opt to sit for placements get placed. Mock placements saw Byju's and Maersk to name a few. The placement cell is effective all year round. SVCE runs because of the placement officer.

Placements: There were many placement opportunities provided by the college in the field of IT and core. The placement officer made sure that every student got placed somewhere. Placements were very good for the senior batch as well. Every student in both our batches got placed.

SVCE - Evolving a man into Engineer!

Placements: The Placement for 2015 batch was better than the previous senior batch due to the recession time in IT industry. In 2015, around 900 people opted for placement and 99% got placed in a well reputable MNCs. The Placement cell was helpful to the students in order to avoid the off campus recruitment.

Satisfied with the placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in the college were good. But predominantly, IT-related companies visited the campus for placements. The salary package offered was in between 3 LPA to 8 LPA. The average salary offered was around 3.8 LPA. There is an option of attending the placements of multiple companies, and it is the major advantage of SVCE. Roles like the engineer, programmer analyst, etc., are offered to placed students.

Placements in our college are good.

Placements: The college has a placement cell. It is useful, but the companies of expected quality did not visit the campus for us or our senior batch. Most of the shipping companies like Sunmark, Mol, etc., visited our college for placements. They recruit only those students having no arrears and some certain English knowledge. Overall, only 8 or 10 students got placed in those companies.

Around 250 companies are coming for placement every year only 5 to 10 core companies are welcomed and only 10 to 15 students are placed over 300 students. All about Sri venkateswara college of engineering.

Placements: The placements offered are excellent. The college is renowned for its placements. Hyundai, Tafe, and Royal Enfield pick most of the students for the placements. The companies like Ford, Ashok Leyland, and other companies offered a good salary package. One of the best colleges to study under a healthy and friendly environment

Placements: In our college, there is a +80% chance of getting placed and if you know the subject and have the skills, it is a cakewalk. In our college, the placements usually start at the beginning of the 6th semester and the companies start to come from then on. A minimum 7.5 CGPA is required to attend all companies.Companies like Zoho, Dell, TCS, CTS, Amazon, etc. have visited the campus. Students found Zoho's interview rounds to be difficult, but they offered a good salary and other privileges. ...

Best college in all aspects. I recommend SVCE.

Placements: Placements in my college were excellent. It was great to have campus interviews. Our college offers core jobs under their own streams as well as the main IT sectors like CTS, Wipro, Accenture and Infosys. Our placement cell puts in the most effort to place us at the top most places with a salary of at least 3- 4 lakh per annum.

One of the best in this region.

Placements: Placements were decent. Many companies visited for placements, both from IT field and bioinformatics. Frequent training programs were organised for placements which would be helpful both within in-campus and off-campus. Companies ranged from TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, to some biotech companies. For internships, the students had to pursue them from outside on their own. Since the college carries a very good name, it is often easy to go through outside. ...
