The placements in our college are very less for our course and a few companies approach our college to recruit students, but there is rare chance to get selected.

This is the best college of my life for my career.
Placements: Fourth-semester students are eligible for campus placement. The salary package offered is very good, starting from 8 LPA, with the highest salary package being 13 LPA. Top reputed companies have visited our college, and we get good positions in these companies.
Infrastructure: The hostel of our college is very good. The room allotted to us is spacious, with three of us sharing one room. The facilities inside the room are great, and each room has an attached bathroom. The food in our hostel is also good, and the food in the mess is tasty and delicious.
Faculty: This is the best course of my life as I loved it, so I chose it. We have good teaching management in our college, and all the teachers are highly qualified, with some holding PhDas. The teaching methods of our teachers are excellent and easy to understand. We have semester exams.

Good faculty but curriculum could be better, placements are decent but infrastructure can be better.
Placements: As far as I know, around 30-40% of the students from the B.Com program get placed with an average salary of 6.5 LPA. But people have also gotten 15-16 LPA, which is the highest. The lowest must be around 3-4 lacs. The recruiting companies that I know of for the pass-out batch were Deloitte, Wipro, United Airlines, and AON.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi and AC labs, but the classrooms don't have AC. They are normal classrooms only. The library is good, but we only have AC in the reading room, and the AC does not even work very well. My friends who live in the hostel have told me the food has actually been quite decent, and they have a lot of sports and fun there.
Faculty: The teachers are genuinely very good. They make us understand everything very nicely. The curriculum is liked by all of us except for Hindi. We have to study Hindi in the first year as well as the second, which is just a waste of time. The B.Com program students don't get an option to study economics, which I think is wrong. The level of the exams is okay. They're neither very tough nor very easy.
Other: I chose B.Com because I am in love with my stream, and I also want to do CA along with it. I would like to remove at least one Hindi and study economics instead. The college life is definitely good. You meet all kinds of people and interact with a lot of new people as there are a lot of fests and events at the college.

Academic Excellence and Beyond: Exploring Venky College.
Placements: I haven't heard much about placements since we are in our freshman year but, according to the graduates who have already passed out, introduced to us by the professors, Chemistry has a wide range of applicability and can work in any field. From my observations, recruitment from companies is on a very small scale. Coming to internships, almost 80% of my batch participated in the internship fair out of which almost got a letter of word from different companies. But due to long hours of work and unfavorable timings, most of them drop the internship offers. As I have mentioned, Chemistry has a wide range of applicability and a student can opt to pursue a Ph.D. or MBA. The advantage of pursuing an MBA is that a person learns to manage business with the companies and also pursues his/her Science interest. If a student is more clear on pure Science, it is recommended to pursue a doctorate degree.
Infrastructure: Most of the books are available in the library for B.Sc. Chemistry though some books are in limited amount. The infrastructure of the Chemistry department is average though it would be much appreciated for the authorities to install ACs in classrooms to tolerate this scorching heat. Sports and games are available if one wants to participate in them.
Faculty: The teaching faculty members are good although lacking at some corners but I personally feel it is up to the students to fill the gaps that their teacher leaves behind. The teachers are highly qualified and they know what they are doing. The semester exams were just average, of course if you study, it's at a pretty average level, nothing like rocket Science questions are asked in freshmen years though the review might change in the succeeding years. The pass percentage is about 90%.
Other: The pure interest in Chemistry brought me out here in this burning city to pursue Bachelor's. I was never good in Chemistry which engraved curiosity corners in my mind. I would say the best thing about this course was the professors that made me change the perspective of teacher-student relationship and my batchmates who had a helpful mindset in every instance.

Sri Venkateshwara College Review.
Placements: Around 30 to 40 percent of students from my course get placed. The highest package offered last year in our course was 9 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 3 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies from our college are AON CONSULTING, BECK BENCHERS, EY INDIA, DELOITTE INDIA. The highest placement offered last year was 2,100,000 per annum and the median package offered was 600,000 per annum and the average package offered was 650,000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and our course is good. All the necessary equipment required for our course is available and equipment required for lab classes is available. The campus is lush green and classrooms are well equipped with fans, smart boards, and projectors. All the buildings are well maintained. There are grounds available for all sports like basketball, tennis, cricket, and football.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful towards students. All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable in their subject, and their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very good because it not only includes theoretical knowledge but also an equal amount of practical knowledge of the subject. As mentioned above, the course provides practical knowledge of the subject, which makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult; exams are of moderate level and the passing criteria for exams is a minimum of 40 percent in both theory and practical exams.
Other: I chose this course because I have great interest in Physics and Mathematics. The best thing about this course is that you get to learn about various phenomena that happen regularly in our daily life. The thing which can be improved, according to me, in this course is that knowledge about programming languages should be provided, which will help us to make simulations of the experiments we perform in the lab and make us more industry-ready. Many events are regularly organized by different societies and clubs. The college fest is known as NEXUS and is organized in the months of March and April. The metro station is only 50 meters from the college main gate, and Dhula Kuan bus stand is around 1 km away. Scholarships are provided by the college on family income and merit basis.

Extremely satisfied with Sri Venkateswara College.
Placements: People from biochemistry don't get placement, but almost 100% of students get internships at various institutions like JNU, AIIMS and Sri Vipra (the research unit of our college). Many of the alumni are well settled and pursuing their higher education from abroad.
Infrastructure: We do have one of the best labs and infrastructure. We do have the best sports infrastructure too. Risabh Pant, a well-known cricketer, is from our college. We do have basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, table tennis, badminton court, football and cricket facilities on our campus. But we don't have indoor sports complexes like it do exist in North camps. We do have an auditorium, which is not functional. Only the drama and dance society uses it for their practice.
Faculty: Professors are well qualified and helpful. The exam is not very difficult to get passed and the passing percentage is 50%. Many have done their Ph.D. from AIIMS, IIT Delhi, and CDRI Lucknow. We are allotted a professor as a mentor of 10–15 students. They do keep informal meetings, and we do have good interaction.
Other: I was preparing for NEET but I couldn't make it. So I enrolled for biochemistry at DU.

Venky is the topmost college from South Campus and better than some colleges in North Campus too.
Placements: For science courses, placements are not available. Opportunities exist mainly for commerce students, so as science students, we are not provided with work opportunities after graduation; instead, we must pursue post-graduation or other options based on our interests.
Infrastructure: The labs do not have up-to-date equipment; they are very old and do not function properly. The classrooms are quite small with poor ventilation. However, the library is good and large, containing all the prescribed books in their latest editions. The canteen is overpriced, and the food is not satisfactory.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and teach us well, using real-time examples. They also provide career guidance. The curriculum is good, as it covers most of the entrance exam syllabus, and practicals are held regularly. The mid-sem exams are a bit tough, but the semester-end exams are easier.
Other: The college infrastructure is decent, with a well-maintained sports ground, although the sports equipment is old and limited in quantity. The crowd is decent, and the environment feels safe. Multiple fests are organized by various societies apart from Nexus, which are equally enjoyable.
