The best and the worst of Dyal Singh.
Placements: Our batch is 2020-24. I am in B.Com. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are KPMG, EY, and Genpact. They are mass hiring companies. Internships that are provided are mostly in sales. The stipend offered is Rs. 5,000-10,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite great. It is one of the biggest colleges in comparison to the area in Delhi University. All facilities are available including labs and Wi-Fi but it is a bit old. However, there is a newly built building as well. The ground is very big when it comes to sports. The canteen also provides decent food.
Faculty: Faculty members are great and helpful. They have immense knowledge related to their subjects. They are easily accessible through WhatsApp groups and classroom classes. Semester exams are held every 6 months and the difficulty level is moderately difficult.

Real good faculty, labs, connectivity is at its peak, big campus, and lot of opportunities.
Placements: Generally, there are no placements after a B.Sc. in life sciences; you are required to do a master's or PhD. College still has a placement cell, and you can join it to get some internships and placements in your final year. Recently, summer internships in research were offered by different departments like Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Maths, and Physics.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi: No Wi-Fi access for students. But you have a 5G connection throughout campus. Labs have all the required equipment. If you have a practical class, you will enjoy it. Classrooms: Decent-sized, spacious classrooms. Most of the classrooms in the science block have projectors. Hostel: College does not offer hostel facilities. Canteen: The college canteen is cheap; the food is decent. Sports and games: College offers a lot of sports and games.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful. Teachers go out of their way to help students. The course curriculum is designed by the university, and it opens up a lot of opportunities in different fields of biology and mathematics. Semester exams are pretty easy; just attend the college regularly.
Other: College has a lot of societies, so good opportunities are right ahead. You can get scholarships if you are eligible. College is surrounded by a lot of trees. The best part about college is that it is 50m away from JLN metro station, which has a lot of connectivity.

Yes I am dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: I have generally not heard about placements from my department students who try for IIT JAM and other field jobs. some go for UPSC government exams students come here to do coaching and other curricular activities which develop their personality physically as well as mentally.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is okok not too good mostly washrooms GATE doesnot have latch. Library is fine and canteen requires cleanliness also the classroom are cheated as in summer there in no proper ventilation and fans working, also no edu comp classes held.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful if you are regular usually students study just for the sake of exams, not seriously and most of the teachers focus on the quick covering of the syllabus In the end students have to study on their own. Stone hardly managed to pass due to their carelessness.
Other: There are a lot of groups in our batch. No fest no alumni, not good crowd students are much involved in politics.

Dyal Singh is really close to metro station and it's really helpful to travel.
Placements: We have a placement cell in our college, and also we can participate in the overall DU placement cell, which is really helpful. A decent amount of placements is there. But what matters is skills. Although the degree you got is helpful, everything else just depends on the personality of the person. DU also provides internships, paid or unpaid; both are really helpful.
Infrastructure: In our college we do not have a hostel still. But the condition of the library is really good. Wi-Fi is also there. The canteen is really good and cheap for the food they are providing. Teachers are also nice. It's just you have to be present there. Overall, it's nice.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The library is also there to help. Semester exams are decent. You can get a pass if you study before the exam. The syllabus is decent. It's not too difficult to pass. If you study a bit beforehand.
Other: Courses like B.Sc. Life Science contain Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany as major subjects. This is a research-based course, and in a four-degree program, you can get one subject as a major and another one as a minor from the three major subjects.

My first-hand experience of Dyal Singh College as a fresher.
Placements: I am rating the placement of my college 4 because it's improving every year with a lot of new companies joining in. Since I am a fresher, I don't have first-hand experience with the placement procedure, but I can tell you the basic details. CV Scan, Aptitude Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview are some of the basic steps in the process. It is advisable to maintain an 8 CGPA in all years since companies do have some minimum eligibility criteria. The average of this year is 5 LPA and the highest is 23 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty average. Though we have an amphitheatre and auditorium with two libraries, one for the morning and another for the evening batch, still there are many improvements that need to be done in the college in terms of infrastructure.
Faculty: The staff is well qualified and helpful towards students. Generally, they are cooperative if you maintain the decorum of the classroom and do your assignments on time. But, if you try to cross them and be disrespectful, you will face the consequences.

I am not that satisfied because of the timings and faculties here
Placements: Students from different fields can be educated here and get placed after completing their graduation. Top company placements are also possible if you take part in different societies and are an active member. Different tasks are also assigned here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average and spacious. There is a canteen too that provides nice food at a reasonable price for students. Classes are spacious and well-maintained, and there are specific blocks according to the course. There is also a library for everyone.
Faculty: Faculty in exams are good and qualified. The exam course provides three additional courses for skill enhancement: Ability Enhancement Course, as well as courses like Digital Marketing, Social Service, NCC, Dance, Music, Drama, Art and Culture, and Animal Care.
Other: Events occurs occasionally but not that good
