Good faculty but curriculum could be better, placements are decent but infrastructure can be better.
Placements: As far as I know, around 30-40% of the students from the B.Com program get placed with an average salary of 6.5 LPA. But people have also gotten 15-16 LPA, which is the highest. The lowest must be around 3-4 lacs. The recruiting companies that I know of for the pass-out batch were Deloitte, Wipro, United Airlines, and AON.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi and AC labs, but the classrooms don't have AC. They are normal classrooms only. The library is good, but we only have AC in the reading room, and the AC does not even work very well. My friends who live in the hostel have told me the food has actually been quite decent, and they have a lot of sports and fun there.
Faculty: The teachers are genuinely very good. They make us understand everything very nicely. The curriculum is liked by all of us except for Hindi. We have to study Hindi in the first year as well as the second, which is just a waste of time. The B.Com program students don't get an option to study economics, which I think is wrong. The level of the exams is okay. They're neither very tough nor very easy.
Other: I chose B.Com because I am in love with my stream, and I also want to do CA along with it. I would like to remove at least one Hindi and study economics instead. The college life is definitely good. You meet all kinds of people and interact with a lot of new people as there are a lot of fests and events at the college.

Really good placements, faculty, infrastructure and other curriculum activities.
Placements: For B.Com. (P)/(H), placements are quite impressive. Almost all my classmates were places who were interested. The highest package from my batch was around 23 LPA, and the average was around 6-7 LPA. The Big 4 firms are the mass recruiters, along with some start-ups and banks.
Infrastructure: The front face of the college is not that good, but the new building is good. Also, the internal infrastructure is good. I have not been to the hostel, but as far as I know, hostel facilities were also pretty decent with a very low fee. Also, the locality is prime and one of the best.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and cooperative. Attendance was not mandatory during my time, but still, we used to take the classes for a few facilities as they had pretty sound knowledge. Exams are held semiannually, semester-wise. Also famous for cricket.
    Other: Good crowd.

Enough pros with sufficient cons; it depends on how the students view it.
Placements: As far as my course is concerned, the placement offers are decent. The highest pre-offer placement was 12 Lacs per annum, and the average was around 5 Lacs. The Big 4 companies also come for recruitment. The internship percentage is also fair, both with stipend and without.
Infrastructure: The B.Com department has its separate labs and classrooms. There is also a separate B.Com staff room. The canteen is above average and provides quite an ambience. I have not been in the hostel, but from what I’ve heard, it is also good in terms of infrastructure and food.
Faculty: The B.Com faculty is average; there are some teachers from South India who sometimes are not able to teach accordingly. The syllabus is nuanced but requires the dedication of both students and teachers to make us industry-ready. The semester exams are easy to score, even for a non-studious student.
Other: The B.Com course is well and good. I came to this college to explore myself in different aspects, like societies, events, etc.

    Absolutely recommended.
Placements: Placements are top-notch in our college. The placement cell organizes internship fairs and calls companies for placement. Many students from courses like B.Com, B.Com Hons, Economics Hons, etc., get placed. Many companies like EY have hired students from our campus.
Infrastructure: We have well-equipped labs in our college. Courses that require practical classes are taken in labs. The equipment is new and in working condition. Hostel facilities are available for students who live away from cities. They are provided on a merit basis.
Faculty: The faculty is experienced, helpful, and experts in their fields. Most of them are alumni of JNU. They teach very well. The curriculum is relevant, and we also learn new skills in SEC and VAC. The semester exams are not that difficult if you study properly.

A NEUTRAL COLLEGE REVIEW OF SRI VENKATESHWAR COLLEGE BY A 1ST YEAR
Placements: this college has a pretty decent placement record with about 48% of students getting placed last year from bcom hons which give some hope the highest package was 24 lpa whcih great to hear while the median package is 6lpa some of the big names like deloitte kpmg and accenture showed up for placements which is good a bunch of students managed to snap internships but i didn't find exact numbers the placement cell is pretty active though sometimes it feels like there could be more support
Infrastructure: the infrastructure and hostel are alright but definitely not perfect the classrooms are big but there is no a/c so it gets pretty stuffy in the heat the wifi works but its average to be honest the library is very good and it's a quiet spot to study the auditorium still hasnt been renovated so it's not used as much it could be hostel is okay but the mess food it's not the best but fine medical facilities are okay and sports facilities are good overall the infra is average but could be better
Faculty: as a bcom hons 1st year student it's been a mixed thing so far the classes are good but without a/c some professors really knows how to make things intersting but others can be a bit dry and focus too much on theort it sometimes feels like we are rushing through topics just to cover the syllabus the crownd here is pretty diverse and i have made some solid friends but adjusting to the college workload has been tougher then i thought specially the assignments all in it's okay not amazing but not bad either

Satisfying college life, an experience to be lived.
Placements: The placements of the college are quite good. Companies come from around the country, like Deloitte, DE Shaw, and many more recruiters. The highest package of 2022 was 21 L, with 53 offers from my course. The placement cell takes care of these things, providing opportunities like internship fairs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well maintained. The library is awesome, and people sit there most of their time. Hostels are available with well-equipped rooms and amenities, including a mess, reading room, and Wi-Fi, as my friends told me about living there. Wi-Fi is also provided around the campus area.
Faculty: Some faculty members are great, although some don't justify the courses they teach. The course is relevant and comprehensive, although practical aspects could be emphasized more. The semester exams are pretty fine, with some being difficult and some easy. The teachers are reachable when you need help.
Other: My batch is well knowledgeable and fun. You get to experience diverse cultures and people. The peers and seniors are great. Another thing I love is the fest life, where last year, Mohit Chauhan came. The events of the societies are exciting at the same time. Along with this, sports facilities are also available, like a gym, cricket, badminton, tennis, and football.
