Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.

Our college provides a very good infrastructure.
Placements: Our college conducts placement classes. Many students do an internship with a stipend.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is very clean. There is a library, which contains normal subject books and storybooks. There are physical department staff members for teaching sports. The canteen is very clean, so other college students come and visit here for many things and also for campus interview.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are so friendly. They will talk with us every time in a friendly manner so that we can improve our studies. They help us to get good marks and a good job in an interview process, which is very important. Their teaching quality is very good.
Other: Our department contains more staff and students. Always our department students will score more CGPA with outstanding performance. Our department conducts a paper presentation and many competitions. Our college also conducts extracurricular activities like sports.

Our college provides good placements and cultural activities.
Placements: Our college has good infrastructure and placement activities. In our course, most probably everyone get placed. Nearly 90% of the students got placed in a well-reputed company. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting company of our college are TCS, Wipro, HCL and CTS. Some of the students got an internship in HCL. Top role offered in our course is the project engineer.
Infrastructure: In our college, there are three labs for CSE department. They are also providing free Wi-Fi in both colleges and in the hostel. The food served in college is good when compared to others. We went to other colleges for pool drives, so I have experienced it. In Sports, we got state-level prizes and good at all sports and games activities.
Faculty: Every teacher in our college is well and good at teaching. They are highly qualified in their subject. CSE course has a high scope in every industry. They teach us in a good way, and their way of communicating with us is also good. This course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I opted for this course because I like to learn technologies, and I like coding. Events, fest and all cultural activities are held on our campus.

It has poor infrastructure and teaching is degraded, and now its almost critical than ever.
Placements: About 50% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered this year is 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.44 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS and Wipro visit our campus for placements. TCS visit our college and recruited 5 students, and Wipro recruited 3 students. Top roles, like assistant system trainee and software developer, are offered to the students. The highest salary package offered in our course is 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.44 LPA. All most all did an internship in local companies during the summer holidays. Mainly c computer science students did an internship in network-based companies and software development companies in coimbatore.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in labs are quite moderate and not much worse. The college provides uninterrupted internet connectivity. The college provides Wi-Fi facility is available only in 3 labs. Classrooms are moderate. There are 2 seminars and projector-based classrooms. It still lacks facilities in classrooms sometimes like fan, light and dust issues. Students have requested for those issues in class committee meetings or directly to HODs, but they are least bothered. However, classrooms are comfortable with wide space and good lightings most of the time. Library and other facilities are good, and now all have degraded in terms of quality and quantity. There is a huge problem with labs. Few medical facilities are available. They give the least importance to sports, but however, they grant permission to play. There is no proper physical trainer. Quality of the food served in the mess nowadays is worst. They are trying to save money and leading to a decrease in food taste. It is poor and getting worse. But it was good and really comfortable once upon a time.
Faculty: All teachers in our college are qualified and knowledgeable. The college hires teachers with the least experience for less salary, which is more affecting the standard. The standard that the college has got during my first year is far better than it is now. Even our HOD is not much qualified, least guiding us and not caring about our future. The college does not conduct workshops and seminars from other colleges. Symposiums are conducted from the past 2 years. Their teaching quality is worst. The course curriculum is irrelevant. It is a UG course, which is a basic foundation to all PG students, so specialisation courses are made rather than making us industry-ready, which is good in a perspective. Still its a bit far from industry expectation. But the course content of Anna University is one of the best that you can ever find across India.
Other: I have chosen this course because I love computers and to work on IT projects. I like maths a lot that triggered my interest in programming, software design, development, exploring algorithms, etc.
