Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Absolutely dissatisfied of this college.
Placements: The placements of the college are very low. In the 2024 batch of Comps, IT, and AIML, hardly 6 to 7 students were placed in the on-campus placements. The packages offered were 3 to 3.5 LPA. Also, the college doesn't support or help you to get an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is somewhat average. In most of the classrooms, the fans are not working, and if a complaint is made, there is no response or action. To talk about the labs, some of the keyboards and mice don't work, and the chairs are not proper or are broken. Still, no response or action has been taken to solve the defects.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are not qualified, and they don't know how to teach students (only a few are good, I can say). Also, the teaching quality is not good and up to the mark; the curriculum is outdated. The college mostly focuses on theory rather than practical-based learning. During the practicals, we simply pass time, and hardly any experiments are performed properly. Also, the HOD of the college is very bad, violent, and harasses the students very much.
Other: I chose this course to get into the teaching field, learn coding, programming, app development, etc. Personally, I think the course should be more practical-based rather than theory-based, which will help the students to learn and gain interest.

Some of the faculty are not so good because of their rude behaviour.
Placements: The lowest package is 3 LPA the highest package offered is up to 10 LPA. TCS, byju's, Google, etc. 50 percentage of students get internship. Campus secretory, campus head, NSS, HACKTON, prasang events, Mumbai University festival.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi in Library. Outside there is poor connection and network issue. Hostel is quite good but their is no proper facilities regarding food and mess. One canteen is available. There is playground where all can practice their sports. Different sports event are conducted.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helps in every problems. Full lectures are conducted no free period is allotted. Curriculum is relevant, to students for their further. Semester exams are quite okay, because teachers provide previous year question banks.

Overall, the college is good to pursue B.Tech. The only thing I do not like about the college is its
Placements: Students get internships from the second year, which builds experience in them. Many students get placed from the third year. Companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and many more visited. I do not know how many offers were made. The highest package was about 8 lakhs, and the average package is 3 lakhs. Seventy-five percent of students got placed in previous years. I plan to prepare for GATE to get more opportunities, etc.
Infrastructure: In the college, there are some network issues. Sometimes, important calls get disconnected automatically. There is a big campus and availability of sports equipment. A lift system is available in the college for higher floors. There is cleanliness in the college, classrooms, as well as the whole campus. The taste of the canteen food is good.
Faculty: Faculty are supportive and well-experienced. Mentors are helpful with our difficulties. The college is very strict. I had an interest in computer engineering and chose this field. The faculty-student ratio was 1:60, which needs to be improved. Most teachers had M.Tech degrees but need more practical and outreach in their teaching methods. The term exams were conducted monthly and were of moderate level to pass.

I am absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2022, and good infrastructure.
Placements: This year, about 40 to 50% of students were placed in the computer science department. The placement cell is supportive and helpful to students. All though, it is a very good college in terms of teaching and very strict at the same time. 75% attendance is mandatory.
Infrastructure: It is one of the best colleges of Mumbai University in terms of campus and infrastructure. The canteen food is not so good, but it's eatable. It has a football ground, basketball ground and one big lawn for football and volleyball.
Faculty: The faculty members in this college are supportive and helpful. The teaching quality is the best. Faculty members complete the syllabus on time. Practicals are conducted to provide practical knowledge to the students, which is very helpful in future in the industry.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in coding since my HSC. So, I have decided to do computer engineering further. I took admission in this college as it it has a smooth admission process.

It depends on you for admission.
Placements: 30% of students were placed in our course. The lowest salary offered was 25k and the highest salary was 1 Lacs and the average was 32k. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Contentstack, LTI, L&T. Software Engineer was the top role offered in our course. The lowest package was 2.50 LPA and the highest was 10 LPA and the average package was 3.5 LPA. Our college doesn't provide us with internships until now but some local companies are interested.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are some of the best in the palghar district, but if you compare it to the top colleges of Mumbai is still good. The classrooms were good, the canteen and medical facilities are still good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good but, a good number of faculty left the college due to salary issues with the college staff. Faculty tries to teach course curriculum but in the end, it all depends on you. They make you industry ready.
