Choose the best needed to become the best.
Placements: The percentage of students that will be placed is around 80%, and the remaining will choose off-campus interviews. Zoho and HCL are the top recruiting companies that come to our college. Almost 50% of the students will be offered an internship before the last year. Full stack developer and web developer are the top roles.
Infrastructure: There will be canteen facilities, drinking water facilities, a gym, and a large library that consists of plenty of books for the hostel students, and even day scholars can opt for that. The quality of food is good, and there is special treatment for students opting for sports.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified, and they are well-educated. The teaching in our college is better compared to other colleges, and the semester exams will be a little tough as they contain 15% of content outside of the books that are referred to in our college.
Other: Computer Science is one of the fast-growing courses in the information technology field as it serves as the core for many. AI is one of the best for this course.

Good food, strict rules, good placements.
Placements: Totally, 75 percent of students get placed every year. On average, the package will range between 3 LPA - 10 LPA, but this year 5 of our college students got placed with an offer of 44 LPA. So, if you have skills, you have more chances of getting placed in a good company.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is somewhat average since it is a 30-year-old college, but new buildings being constructed have some good infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available only in the hostel and lab; no Wi-Fi is available in classrooms. Labs are good with all the necessary equipment, and hostel food quality is also above average.
Faculty: Even though teaching quality of some teachers is lagging, all the teachers have exceptional knowledge about their handling subjects. They update themselves regularly by studying new courses and getting certifications in it. Passing in semester exams is easy as the passing percentage is 50.

Review of St. Joseph's College of Engineering.
Placements: In mechanical engineering, the students placed in core are drastically low; they can also get placed in non-core software jobs in service-based companies. In our course, 4.21 LPA is the highest salary offered. Companies like Renault Nissan recruit us. 80 percent of students get internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not bad. Our department doesn't have a separate block now because of the low admission. But the laboratories are good. We have more labs than other departments. The library is overall okay. The quality of food in the hostel is good. The medical facility is bad.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified enough to teach us. Some are really good. The teaching quality is okay, good. The course is mostly in theory, and I think it will make us industry-ready. The semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is good; most of us get passed.

    Best engineering college in Chennai.
Placements: The placements here are really good. Many companies come to campus, and students often get offers as early as their third year. The highest package offered for the year 2024 was 27 LPA, which was offered by Juspay. Companies that recruit students from this college include TCS, Infosys, CTS, Accenture, Wipro, Teach Mahindra, and many more.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi in all the labs, and each floor has a lab, so the Wi-Fi can reach the classrooms. However, mobile phones are not allowed. There is no canteen inside the college, but there is a stall that sells fries and noodles, and a bakery that sells baked goods at very low prices.
Faculty: Some of the faculty are new and are up-to-date on the latest technology, while others are older but have a wealth of knowledge and experience. All of the faculty are helpful and willing to guide students in their studies and projects. Students who are self-motivated will do well here. The staff provides students with ample time to work on their projects in the labs, which makes for a better learning experience.

Best college for the people who follow rules and study well.
Placements: The packages were much less than I expected. They seem to have fallen down on the job. Many companies like AWS, TCS, Google, IBM, Infosys, and many startup companies come for placements, but they take only a few students.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is clean and neat, and the food is good compared to other colleges. The college has the best lab facilities. However, the mobile data signal is weak in the hostel and on campus.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are good. They are very helpful and provide career guidance to the students. They also encourage students to participate in events such as hackathons, presentations, dataothons, and startup ideas. The course in artificial intelligence and machine learning is a difficult one. Students who are good at math and have problem-solving skills will do well in this course.
Other: I really like this college. It has a lot to offer. There are fests on campus, and they provide a lot of scholarships. They also conduct a lot of activities, which I enjoy. The crowd is above average, which is a plus.

    Foodie College! Strict tooo.
Placements: This college is overall okay, but it will take at least one year to get the hang of it. 80 percent of students are placed in this college's last placement. We get an internship if you search alone, but they will give it on duty if it is a good company. The top roles offered are service-based.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good if you are a foodie. But you can't go out of the hostel if you don't have a guardian nearby. They should come and pick you up. If you want to go out, Wi-Fi is available, but it will be lower than your internet, but Ethernet is fast enough.
Faculty: The faculty are good and friendly, helpful, and more likely experienced, but there are staff who are not experienced. Your fate even you can complain to the HOD to change the staff. They will see to that. Sem exams are easy if you study. A good pass percentage is given to the college.
Other: No campus crowds, no events, and everything in this college is food.
