STCET, a college which may not be much popular outside Kolkata but those who know about this college are familiar with the level discipline the college maintains. The main attraction in STCET is its lovely playground, badminton court, common room and the interdepartmental tournaments. The college has a lovely faculty group, who are ready to help you anytime. The college has been consistent with placement even during tough times of global economy. Since, the college takes maximum 260 students, s...

It is a very good college, especially for CSE and IT. The placement cell of the college is very active. It is not very good for ECE and EE as many core companies do not visit here. An IT job is pretty assured from here. The faculty of CSE and IT are very dedicated and hard working. The labs for CSE and IT are very well facilitated. No unions and disruption of classes is there in the college.

It is the best private college in Kolkata with world class faculty. Discipline at its best. In 4 years it not only provide a technical degree but it also grooms the student to perform in industrial fields. Overall it's value for money and I don't think any other private college can provide such environment for studies. It also provides library facility and laboratories with well-equipped machines and with upgraded model. Faculty is nice and friendly in nature.

One of the best Tier-III College in Kolkata. It’s a private funded institution. Fees is standardized by our university (3.6 Lakhs). They provide a laptop which one can keep forever. College is Wi-Fi enabled, 2 big grounds (best featured if you play cricket and football). Common room has table tennis and carom. Badminton and volleyball facilities are also there. Faculty members are good. They stick only to their respective syllabuses. Best streams to go for: CSE and IT. Placement: CTS, Infosys, I...

Affiliated to MAKAUT (formerly WBUT) STCET is an Engineering college located in Kidder pore, Kolkata. Offers 4 courses, EE, ECE, CSE and IT. The Faculty is one of the best in town and the College administration is extremely helpful! The college pushes the students for various extracurricular activities which take place throughout the year along with the academics! It’s a great mix-bag which helps the student to have a happy engineering life and after 4 years we are having a hard time to accept t...

College life is good. It organises the best events and has supportive faculty members.

Placements: Students get placed according to their skills, but not huge companies visit our college to hire students from all departments. The average salary package is offered to students. But many students get a chance to get experience in this field. It provides more placements for The IT department. Students get an internship in many good companies. College is very supportive. Our college provides more placements in the computer department.

I am highly satisfied with the faculty members, infrastructure and really good teachers.

Placements: Our college has a very good placement cell, which has maximum faculty members. Maximum job opportunities are offered to students. Students from the batch got placements in information parks. Students are in their best positions in companies and enjoying their life. Placements are provided in well-reputed companies.

Good for talented students.

Placements: The college is named as one of the top private Engineering colleges in West Bengal. The reason for this is the academics record and the placement in campus. Mainly Cognizant and Infosys are the mass recruiters of this college but students get other opportunities as well. I had got three placement offers one was in campus, one was pool campus and one was off campus. For hostel accommodations the college has no such place, but near the college students rent rooms and live there.
