    It was the worst experience.
Placements: Placement is very bad in this college. Firstly, they do not allow joining an internship. The so-called placement cell is also composed of one incapable person who has zero industry connections who will always misguide you (it is better if you do the opposite thing of what he will suggest you to do). They always stick to two or three (CTS, Mindtree, Infosys, etc.) companies for the placement of maximum students, and inevitably for the batch of 2024, it was a disaster. As the market was not so much up to the mark, CTS took 18 (103 previous year) and Mindtree took 4-5 students (104 last year) and Infy zero. They are so much dependent on these two companies but do not allow other companies like PwC, Accenture, and TCS to take the students from on campus; I don't know why. We saw our friends getting placement from other colleges, but we were told that everywhere the condition is tough. So I believe placement needs to be improved so much, and a new and capable placement coordinator should be appointed.
Infrastructure: Labs are not so good but okay. Hostel facilities are not available. We had a tough time getting classrooms as the batch strength for the new batch was being expanded and the college was also being renovated, but now the problem is solved, I believe. The library also has a huge collection of books.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and really qualified, and their teaching quality is very good. But maximums are very bad. They have the worst accent; they don't know how to teach. They make the students feel dumb. Ultimately you will not understand anything from their class, and you have to study from YouTube. But the tragedy is that you have to attend those classes; otherwise, you have to pay a fine for low attendance. It is like a school. You will be charged a fine for everything. You will not be industry-ready; this is for sure. They will always try to harass you for everything.
Other: Every year, cricket, football, and badminton tournaments take place. There are farewell parties, freshers, and Tech Fest, but with much drama from the admin.

I am satisfied with the faculty because they are very friendly to the students and well-educated.
Placements: Placements are above average. The percentage of students placed in our college is 40-70%. Most of the placement students are not going to the company, or the company is not calling them to join. The highest is 93%, and the lowest is 35%. Infosys, POORNAM, and 6D Technologies are the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, including the hostel. In our college, there are a minimum of 10-15 Wi-Fi networks, but students do not have access to Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is only accessible to faculty members and staff. Every department has its own Wi-Fi. There is a lab, and the library contains only textbooks.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly, helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good and relevant. No, we can join a 6-month course after graduation. It helps improve students' skills. The semester exams are difficult, and the pass percentage is not fixed.

Decent placement opportunities with school like atmosphere.
Placements: Placement is decent, although mostly in IT and almost none in core sectors. Some mass recruiters, such as LTI Mindtree, Infosys, and Cognizant, hire a lot of students from on-campus, as well as some mid-level startups, such as P360 and Nrift. The average package is 4 LPA and the highest is around 9 LPA. Although in 2024, in our batch, there was a huge increase in placement numbers, only a handful of people got placed in the startups, and the mass recruiters didn't visit.
Infrastructure: No hostel facility is available. Canteen food is below average except for the price of the meal, which is average. Classrooms and libraries are good. Libraries issue books to each and every student. Wi-Fi access and labs are decent and students can use them any time during college hours.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, with most of them holding Masters and PhD's. They are approachable and help students after class. The teaching quality is decent. The course curriculum is decided by Makaut University. It is a bit outdated; it teaches the basics but is not proficient in the recent trends and technologies of the industry to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are fairly difficult. You have to study thoroughly to get good marks.
Other: I chose ECE because I wanted to be eligible for both core and IT placements. The course is outdated but college has nothing to do with it as it is decided by the university. Fests and events have started recently. Scholarships like the SVMCM are available.

Be careful with the PGs owned by old people.
Placements: Almost 50% of students get placed in companies. The highest package of the college is 1.2 CPA and the lowest package is about 4 LPA. The average package of the college is 6 LPA. Companies like P360 and Cognizant visit the campus for placement. Few students get internships.
Infrastructure: No hostel facility is available in the college. Infrastructures are good enough. Food quality in the canteen is fine. Medical facilities are pretty good. As there is no hostel, students will go for PG. But be careful about the PG. You can talk with your seniors or higher authorities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and qualified but if you are from a JEE or NEET background and are expecting the level of teaching to be like any Kota teachers then forget about it. Very few teachers are knowledgeable. You can find 10-15 teachers whose teaching level is really very good. But except for them, it's not good.
Other: AI is rapidly growing in every field, therefore, a course like AIML definitely has a future.

The college is good but you don't enjoy college life.
Placements: This year, around 60% to 65% of students got placed in companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA by Flipkart. The lowest salary package offered is 4.2 LPA. Internship opportunities are low in this college, we have to apply off-campus to get internships.
Infrastructure: All labs are in good condition but Wi-Fi has low internet speed. Canteen food is decent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. But if one is not from Bengal, it can be a little difficult at times because some teachers use Bengali language. Semester exams are not difficult much, if we are good at studying we can score good marks in exams. If one wants good placement, then we need to score at least above 8 CGPA.
Other: We don't enjoy much of a college life here. The dress is compulsory in college and only freshers and farewell parties are organized. In this college, one might feel more like a school.

    Honest review of my college.
Placements: Placement is still ongoing. It is expected that 60% of the students will be placed. The placement here is average. The highest package is 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies offering higher packages for lower students are P360 and Nomura Fintech. An internship depends on placements here and not from outside.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel. People have to stay as paying guests or rent a flat near the college. The college has a library, classrooms, labs, and Wi-Fi available, but rarely do people know the password as no faculty member shares the password. The classrooms are big and well-maintained. Overall good.
Faculty: The teachers here are helpful and kind. Not all are excellent, but there are good teachers. All teachers focus on education and try their best for students. The curriculum is relevant, but not for jobs as much as students need to study web development or other things from outside. DSA and DAA are there, but not so many excellent teachers can be found to teach. Semester exams are quite average. One has to read all chapters; otherwise, no one can predict the questions coming from which chapters, as there are no guaranteed marks from any chapters.
