    I'm satisfied with our college.
Placements: Our college has almost 10,000 students. The highest salary offered is 1 lac per month and the lowest is Rs. 24,000 per month. Placements of the college in each course are better mostly in CA 40% of the student got placements this year in 2022. The course is amazing and I'm glad to say St Xavier college is a better choice for our career.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of each course is amazing but I'm talking about my course that is history hons, it is better than others course. The facilities which are provided in our course are affordable but better. I'm glad to take history in St Xavier college Ranchi. There is a hostel on campus and I live in the hostel and the facilities of the hostel are amazing. They maintain discipline in the hostel.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They have 5-6 years of experience. The course curriculum is relevant and all the students have their special teachers. There are semester exams and mid-semesters also for 30 marks and final semesters for 70 marks. The minimum percentage of clear semester exams is 60 %. If you do not score it, you will be not promoted to next semester.
Other: I'm glad to say that I chose this course for clearing UPSC and State PCS exam. This course helps me in a better way to achieve our goals. The courses which are provided by the college directly link with all related papers. There are events, fest, scholarships and extracurricular activities conducted on campus. I'm glad to say this college is amazing and would recommend joining it.

Our college has better infrastructure, faculty members and facilities.
Placements: As is the scenario nationwide, arts students don't get placements from the college except for a few 5-6 of them being selected by NGOs, private sector banks, and localised recruiters. Students choosing B.A. in History prepare for highly prestigious UPSC JPSC and BPSC and many other reputed government jobs.
Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped with several important books by famous writers and various maps to supplement students. The classrooms are quite big, spacious, and comfortable with modern equipment like projectors for an enhanced teaching experience. The college has a high-speed internet connection that serves the requirement of the students. The central library in the college has a large collection of books, magazines, journals, and articles that renders a great help to students and also the central library has a well clean and maintained reading area with tables and chairs with the comfort of air-conditioning. Coming to mess food, it is quite good as the mess has hired quality staff in handling the processing of food. The college has three very good and well-maintained canteens, Green chilly, which is new to the campus and has a decent menu serving quite delicious meals especially the Samosas and Manchurian are worth enjoying here. The canteen has an RO water system with a water chiller and very well arranged sitting areas for students and faculty members separately. The second one is situated near the intermediate section which is next to the basketball court. This one is also pretty good sandwiches served here are quite tasty and other meals are also worth trying. The third one is near the main gate of St Xavier's College and this one is for snacks, cold drinks, and many other packed food items. College has a well maintained and big ground which serves as more centre to accommodate various sports around the year, cricket matches, football, and hockey matches are worth watching and all the departments of the college participate in these well-organised sporting events that demonstrate the diversity and cultural aspects of St Xavier's Ranchi. College has a multi-facility, modern, and well-equipped gymnasium that serves students, faculty members and staff of the college.
Faculty: Our department professors are excellent and highly qualified. Many of them are postgraduates and Ph.D. holders from JNU. They help students in the classes and even after the classes. The course curriculum was in sync with the other reputed universities and also promoted the local tribal history which I think is quite rich. The course was curated to make students ready for various job opportunities and informative. The questions in the semester exams are decent and generated inquiry upon the information and knowledge of the students in a subtle way.
Other: St Xavier's College, Ranchi overall changed my perspective and analytical abilities to a great level. The campus vibes are majestic and also the college is situated in the heart of the capital city of Jharkhand and is well connected by autos and taxis to the other parts of the state. There are also numerous scholarship programs for meticulous students and for poor students belonging to SC/ST and OBC communities.

Our college has an excellent environment for studies.
Placements: There are approximately 200 students in St. Xavier's college Ranchi in History Hons. For our course, there is no placement drive, because it is arts stream. Many alumni of St. Xavier college have cleared the UPSC exam, and they were of history background.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. There are separate buildings for UG and PG courses. Wi-Fi is not available on campus. There is a big library with good space, and thousands of helpful books for studies. We also have a computer lab and labs for practical subjects. Classrooms are with good space, so there is no problem with space in this college. Hostel is also well developed and equipped with basic things like clean washrooms, bathrooms, mess with good quality foods. There is a canteen and gym also for workouts. Sports activities are organised every week.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are excellent. Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. They teach us not only to clear semester exams but to clear competitive exams like civil services, state civil service, etc. They are not dependent on one book, and they teach us from many popular and informative books. Semestral exams are tough to pass. The pass percentage is of 85%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it since 9th class. In this course, we know about various historic and pre-historic things, and also about the dynasties, etc. There is Xavier Utsav celebrated every year in February. Road Connectivity to college is outstanding. Scholarships are available and bonafide is also provided.

Our college and college life are very good.
Placements: I am a student of the 2013-2016 batch of BA in history. Almost 20 to 30% of the students got placed. Infosys is the top recruiter, which offered BPO jobs. Internships are offered from Jharkhand Tribal Museum and the state museum. Jobs are offered in museums and libraries. As it is a graduation course, placements are less, but in diploma courses, placements are good.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good and timely. A generator facility is available, and smart classrooms are also available here. Free Wi-Fi and free books from the library are provided. The canteen provides delicious and variety of food. Sports are given special attention, and there are basketball courts and cricket playgrounds. Various competitions are held to encourage sports. Medical and sick rooms are available here.
Faculty: Teachers are highly educated, and classes are conducted on time. You need to be very punctual because, after the class bell ring, no students are allowed to enter. Almost 75% of attendance is compulsory, and failing to achieve it may not allow you to write the exam. The teaching quality is very good.
Other: I was an SSC aspirant, so I have chosen this course. The best part of our course was that I got a deeper knowledge of the subject. More historical site visits can help students to grasp things properly. Xavier fest is the best in the town. E-Kalyan scholarships and various other scholarships are provided by our college.
