I am well satisfied because of the infrastructure, facilities and friendly instructors.
Placements: Firstly, college is widespread (40acres) with a remarkable atmosphere. The degrees offered here are BE & ME. BE has courses like computer science, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, civil, mechanical and petrochemical. Every year, more than 70% of students get placed from college. The highest salary package offered was of 10 LPA by Byju's, and the lowest salary package offered was around 1.8 LPA by the local startups. Major companies like Virtusa, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit every year. Students get internships in companies like Virtusa, Wipro and other startups.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is well established, and anyone shall fall in love with that. Our department has more than 5 laboratories like VLSI lab, digital design laboratory, microcontrollers and microprocessor laboratory, etc. Sports are well guided and encouraged in SVS. The food served is pretty fine, non-vegetarian food is served thrice in a week, and the rest days vegetarian food like sambar, papads, rasam, veggies, etc., are served.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very much helpful in terms of interaction, laboratory work, and clarifying doubts. The teaching quality is pretty much reasonable. The college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. So, the syllabus is received from the university every year, and it meets partially with the industry.
Other: The best thing about our course is the fee structure, as it has a value for money. The laboratories can be improved. Fests and events held are incredible. They support a lot.
