I suggest students who score 90% in JEE Main and want CS, and IT courses can join this college.

Placements: About 80-85% of students got campus placement. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top MNC companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro visit our college to hire students from our course. It got an internship but not at a good amount. I suggest you should try LinkedIn to get good internship. Almost all student of CSE got internship. Data analyst is top role offered to the students.

Satisfied with the placements for my batch, but it could be better for mechanical and electronics.

Placements: Almost everyone got placed in computer science and information technology. Though computer science students get more opportunities. The placements of mechanical are not much good. Mechanical students had to go for the IT sector. The top companies were Josh, Paytm, Finxera etc. The packages offered are 8-10 LPA. Other companies were Nagarro, Trade etc.

It is a path to achieve your dreams.

Placements: The placement cell of PUSSGRC Hoshiarpur is quite active with many members and has contacts with various companies. The mass recruiters are the IT companies. This year, more than 80% of students were placed in different companies. They also organise weekly aptitude tests to improve the student's aptitude.

Good infrastructure but bad placements.

Placements: Very few companies visit the Hoshiarpur campus, We had to travel to Chandigarh (UIET Chandigarh) Main Campus for placements. Only two companies came for ECE branch. Most of the guys got placed in MNC like Infosys, TCS and Cognizant (Non-core jobs). It is also very difficult to travel to Chandigarh every time for placements and We had to pay for college bus too, so that was additional financial burden.

Placement issue and lack of facilities.

Placements: None of the companies visit this campus. Mostly companies comes in the main University Chandigarh and we sit along with other student in placements. So it's very difficult to travel from Hoshiarpur to Chandigarh everytime when a company come for the placement.

Review of Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre, Panjab University.

Placements: Placements are good enough here if you have good knowledge of the core fields, i.e., CSE and IT. For other non-tech branches, placements in core companies are not much good. As far as location is concerned, our college is great in terms of placements as we even get the privilege of being a part of top reputed Panjab University.

It is an average college.

Placements: Almost every student gets placed, but the salary package offered is not up to the mark. The highest salary package offered to the latest passing batch was 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys and IBM. Top roles offered by the companies are a software development engineer, testing and security analyst, etc.

It is a lush green campus in Panjab, and placements were good.

Placements: Computer science in this college is quite good as compared to the other branches such as mechanical and electronics. In our college, we have a joint placement with UIET Chandigarh. If you are in CSE or in IT, you can get a job if you apply. Getting a job is tough in mechanical and electronics is tough.

Review of Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre, Panjab University.

Placements: Placements are quite good enough. About 80-85% of the students got placed in companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini and many other good companies. The top salary package offered is 10-12 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is 3-3.5 LPA. Students get a chance to get placed along with Panjab University Chandigarh, and chances of getting placed are increasing.

It is a small campus, but it is adequate.

Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered by Zycus is 6.5 LPA, the average salary package offered is 4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.6 LPA. Zycus is the Top recruiting company of our college. Top roles offered to the students are software engineer, data analyst and product manager. Almost 78% of the students got an internship in companies like Ramy Infotech, GreyB Services, smartData and SoftProdigy.

The college is out of the city and has a peaceful and non-violence area. It's good for hard workers.

Placements: I am a student of ECE in the first-year. A good percentage of students get placed here in companies like Infosys, Sonalika, Tech Mahindra, etc. Most of the students have cleared GATE examination. The average salary package offered by companies is 3-4 LPA.

The college has a good crowd, faculty members and infrastructure. Placements are average.

Placements: Placements for courses like electrical, computer science and information technology are good, but placement opportunities are very less for mechanical engineering. Out of 60 students, only 3 to 4 students got placed through campus placements. Almost every student in CS and IT branches gets placed. Companies like SML, Sufi, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc., visited our college to recruit students. The highest salary package offered till now is 9 LPA. Absolutely good college, worth a try if you are serious in engineering.

Placements: Average placements, but a good platform for CSE, IT. 90% of CSE IT get placements. Students get a lot of chances, and they are also eligible to sit in joint placement held in Chandigarh. Not too good for mechanical. Company arrives rarely for mechanical engineers.

Really good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were not that great during the time I left but over the years the training and placement call has actually been doing a good job especially when it comes to the IT sector. Good companies have been visiting campus year by year. A lot of new companies are expected to be there for next placement season.

Value for money. Better than taking admission in private colleges. Family-type bonding.

Placements: The placements are pretty good. In our batch, almost every student of CSE, IT, and ECE was placed. The placements are mostly held in UIET, Chandigarh where students from our college are also allowed but not in every company. Infosys is an MNC that allows students of our college. Other students can also participate in the central placement organised by the university.

Good faculty, infrastructure and facilities but not so good course curriculum and placement.

Placements: The placements in the CSE and IT branch are pretty good and almost 100% as compared to ECE and mechanical. The average salary offered was Rs. 3.5 to 4.0 LPA and the highest salary offered was Rs. 7.0 lpa in the off-campus placement to a student of CSE branch. Various companies that visit our college campus are Infosys, Zycus, AscentX, Sufi, GreyB, etc.

PUSSGRC, a good destination for a hard working student.

Placements: Placements for the CS and IT branches are pretty good but very low for mechanical and ECE branches. The college staff members are working on it. They are developing more skills in the students so they can get placed easily in CS and IT branches. 70 to 95 percent students are placed but in mechanical and ECE, 30 to 50 percent are placed with an average salary of above 5 lakhs per year last year. The highest paid student was from the CS branch and the company was offering him 13.5 lakhs for a 6-mo...

Developing college with lots of potential

Placements: Students play the most important role in TPC. I was also a part of the same team. But the placement of mechanical branch in the core companies was not that good. I got placed in a patent industry. The highest package offered to our seniors was about 6 lacs. But the average salary of students comes to around 3 lacs.

The college has good faculty members. Study environment is also good. Crowd is amazing in this college and teachers are always available to help and give extra classes. Hostel facilities are awesome. Everything is approachable and campus is very safe. Infrastructure is very good. But it's on the outskirts of the city so it's difficult to get to the city.

College has good infrastructure. Location is not so good and in terms of education its average. Faculty and staff are both very supportive. Best part of this college is that it is affiliated to panjab university Chandigarh as we all are aware that Panjab University has a very reputed image.
