Placements: Overall, placements were great for the senior batch with a few HR students being graduated without placements. But overall, students who got placed were happy. The summer internship wasn't satisfactory at all. A proper research wasn't conducted by the placement cell for the companies visiting. I had a bad experience with the summer internship.
Placements: Final placement - decent. Maximum package - 14 LPA. Minimum package - 5.5 LPA. 97% students were placed. Internships were decent. Maximum stipend- 50k per month. Minimum stipend - 2k. It can be improved a big deal considering the quality of students. The curriculum can also be tweaked to meet industry standards. The profiles are good for marketing and operations. It mostly back-end profile for finance. It is mixed in case of HR.
Placements: We have one of the most strict placement cells here in SIMS Pune. The college fee is only 8 lakhs so it is worth it because every year, the average package turns out to be 7-8 lakhs. IT companies come and take many people but other companies also come like Credit Suisse, Deloitte, MRF etc. Roles generally offered are business analyst, financial manager, relationship management etc. Internships scenes are very poor. People have to get it on their own because bad companies come. ...
Placements: You have to understand that this is a grade B college. So the packages will be between 6 to 12 lakhs. But the fees is quite low, i. e. 8 lakhs. Therefore it is quite a good deal. The ROI is good. I am in the second year. Our senior batch was almost completely placed. IT companies hire in big numbers. For 300 students, nearly 70-80 companies come. So it's easy to get. The average was 8 lakhs this year. Roles like business analyst, sales manager, HR executive were there. Internship is not that goo...
Placements: The internships for our batch were not satisfactory. Even though all the students got internships, they were not from very good companies. The highest stipend was offered Rs. 50,000 by Deloitte. The average offered was between Rs. 10,000 -15,000. The final placements were quite good. Good companies like Axis Bank, JP Morgan, Marsh, etc. visited. The highest package offered was 14 LPA.
Placements: Placements for 2016 were not as good as 2015 but were fine. Companies like Wipro and Infosys were hesitating to hire because of uncertainties, but non-IT companies hired people. All of our seniors are placed through the college. The highest package was 13 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA. All of us got the internship but not in good companies.
Placements: The placements were very good this year. Various companies come offering a range of roles. The college offers a high return on investment as the fees are quite low for defence kids. The companies like Deloitte, Marsh, Make My Trip visited this year. The average package offered was 7 LPA.
Placements: This year, the placements were quite good, and many good companies did come. Nearly all the students were placed. The highest package offered was 15 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 6.5 LPA. The average package offered was nearly 7-8 LPA. The internships offers were not that good, but most of the students got the internship from college, but companies were not that good.
Placements: The placements are good and worth the money. Return on investment is very high. The placement rules are very strict. Mostly software companies come which hire in higher numbers with an average of almost 8 LPA. Rest give higher packages but less recruitments.
Placements: 90% placed. Mostly around 6-7 LPA. Highest 20L and lowest around 4.5L. Some good brands like Tata Motors, Marsh, Bata, Villa came. Small names from the unorganised sector also recruited and were paying quite well. There were mostly sales roles, at least for the marketing students. 80% internships were from the college. Rest, the students did manage of their own. Stipends ranged from rupees 0 to 1.5 lakh a month.
Placements: Placements initially were quite streamlined, however, towards the end, only to achieve a certain percentage of placed students, a lot of students were forced to interview for unrelated fields. For eg., a student who is pursuing HR would be made to sit for a marketing role interview which is unfair as the student's career is being played with. Internships saw almost 90% of the batch placed, with no stipend being the lowest I guess and 35k per month being the highest. ...
Placements: Placements are good. Various companies join us during the placement season. Most of us get placed in the first week of the placement season. Senior batch placements were also good and many companies such as Infosys, Deloitte, and Accenture visited. The average package offered is similar to what is mentioned in the prospectus of the college. They do meet the expectations of the students
The college provides a conducive environment for learning and development along with ample opportunities for extra curricular activities. There are two types of hostel rooms...twin sharing and triple sharing. The campus has a swimming pool, basketball court, football ground etc.
My college is one of the top 25 MBA institutes in the country with reputed alumni and good infrastructure. Since 90% of the students are from defense background, it gives us an edge over other institutes. The faculty is excellent with a lot of corporate experience and knowledge. There is a disciplinarian atmosphere in the campus due to the institute's relations to the armed forces.
A well-established college especially for defense kids and serving personnel in Army. Provides MBA in Finance, Operation, Marketing and Human Resource. Also run executive MBA. Situated in the middle of Pune with faculty members from industry. It has best ROI. The fee is at a discount for defense people but for civilian it’s almost double. Placement is also good with an average salary package of around Rs. 7 lakh per annum. Admission through SNAP. Comes under Symbiosis International University. Y...
Decent college, decent placements. Not much value addition. Also, profiles offered aren't the great. Also, they're increasing the batch size and fees every year making it tougher. Rigid system in place and people should only go for this as the last option even though the ROI is decent. Good crowd, mostly a party crowd.
Good college in terms of opportunities for exposure. A lot of Industrial collaboration helps students to understand the intricacies of the industry as well as academia. A very vast alumni base and people have done really well for themselves over the year. The permanent faculties are in a limited number. The visiting faculties are the best part about this college.
The college has a good infrastructure, wide range of subjects, very good external faculty with excellent teaching methodologies, good campus and provides all the required facilities. The campus is centrally located at a half hour's distance from every major place. It has a rigorous course structure, rigid and inflexible admin members but quality of mess food needs improvement.
The college has a 90% reservation for students from a defense background and due to that has a low percentile for the SNAP score and low fees. According to the fees it has an excellent ROI .The negative part will be the strict rules which are in place due to the defense culture and management. The faculty is common for the leading Symbiosis colleges and SIMS which is excellent. The college is centrally located in the city as well which helps students as staying in the hostel is compulsory.
This college has a great learning atmosphere with real life case studies, presentations, tests etc. It has decent summer as well as final placements. Every year better companies keep coming to the college and recruit. They are a lot opportunities to start networking and get to learn a lot through different activities and fests. It is located in the heart of the city so a student can have a life beyond college also. Cons: - The director of the college is really unreasonable at times and the stude...
