SIMS has a very good and relaxing environment. There is no pressure on students but yes we do know when to do what. The placements are awesome in comparison with what fees you are paying. Visiting faculty is very good. Placements was the main reason for admission and it’s really worth it. So it’s good to go to SIMS for MBA.
Classes at SIMS are interactive with a mix of lectures, case studies and presentations. Internal and external exams get equal weightage. Tests are conducted regularly. No handouts are given to students but most teachers share their presentations.SIMS has an impressive academic building but a small campus with no outdoor playground. Classrooms are comfortable. Professors are strict about academics. Canteen offers variety in veg & non-veg food. Campus Placements see 85-90 companies visiting.
SCMS School of Engineering and Technology is one of the leading private engineering colleges in Kerala. Even though it is comparatively a very young college the facilities provided by the college are state of the art, all the labs, the library and buildings are well maintained with 27 acres of land the infrastructure is coming up fast . The faculty are truly helpful and don't mind going that extra mile for helping the students. The placements in the college is also good with companies like Infos...
Placements: Most of the students got placed from our college. You just need to take care that you are not in bottom 5%-10% because it becomes difficult to get placements. Placements are decent, but to get the best placements, you can participate in case study competitions and prepare accordingly. Placements: From the previous batch, almost 93% of students got an internship. The highest salary package offered is 16.3 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 9.24 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Credit Suisse, Delloite, Google, Infosys, Wipro, etc., visit our campus for placements. Placement percentage varies every year, and the students get a superb salary package to start their career.
Placements: Except for five students, everyone got placed in the college. Placements were pretty well in the last year. However, mostly banking sector companies had visited the college for recruitment. All students got an internship too, and very few students got PPOs. College is trying to get more retail companies.
