Teachers are helpful in nature.

Faculty: The teachers are friendly in nature and guide the students for the future as well as for their careers. The teachers are well qualified and have a great knowledge of the subject. This course makes the students industry-ready. The exams are held semester-wise as well as mid-semester-wise.

All round development at SIMC.

Faculty: The teachers are very much knowledgeable. Not only that but we also have a lot of industry experts who teach us as the visiting faculty to keep us updated about the current industry norms. The course structure and the curriculum is pretty decent and helpful.

Placements could have been better in 2015.

Faculty: Guest faculty members were really good here. During our tenure, the dean of our college is Mr. Chandan Chatterjee, who used to make students not to depend on others. The course curriculum needs to be improved a little. It doesn't make students industry-ready, but overall, it is decent.

Really good experience and would definitely recommend this college.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are Ph.D. They are extremely helpful and guide us all the time. The overall atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The media industry is always evolving and the course also keeps on changing. We have AR, VR courses now since it's becoming so popular.

Review of SIMC Pune - Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication.

Faculty: Professors in our college are the best, and all of them have been in the industry from so many years. They are well-experienced, helpful, understanding and caring. The course curriculum is good. I am from a non-media background, so the first semester is just the basics from the scratch of mass communication. M.A students have to do 2 internships in 2 years. Since I have just started college, I cannot say more about the benefits of the course curriculum.

Our college provides you with good opportunities.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-qualified and educated. They know the current situation of the markets, and they update us timely and suggest the skills we require to become industry-ready. It is very important to listen to the faculty because their experience makes your way easy. The course curriculum is perfect.

The college is worth the money paid if students intend to learn.

Faculty: Faculty members here were highly unimpressive except for a few. The kind of education imparted had good quality with multiple facets being covered and shared. There were efforts to include industry exposure and other activities to give a holistic perspective to the students.

It has a quality education and a good crowd who are guided by experienced faculty members.

Faculty: There are helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, helpful and experienced faculty members. The course curriculum updated every year to meet the industry standards. It is relevant and helpful to students to adapt to industry standards. Classes are conducted by working industry professionals.

The course curriculum is relevant and updated but faculty lacks quality in the method of teaching.

Faculty: The faculty members and staff on the campus are average only. They are qualified and knowledgeable. But lack quality in the method of teaching. The course curriculum is relevant and up-to-date. The college also prepares each and every student to become industry ready.

The right mix of academics and co-curricular.

Faculty: The course and faculty is well woven to give us the right exposure and experience in the industry. We have several external faculty members that come in for our specialisation courses to give us the corporate exposure. Apart from the regular course curriculum, the assignments, corporate talks, workshops, etc. helped to build on the existing course that is taught.

A great place in terms of faculty members, infrastructure, curriculum and peers.

Faculty: The teachers are extremely talented and knowledgeable. Many of them have work experience in the industry for a long time. The college invites visiting faculty members from different fields and industries. They provide the real picture of the industry and world outside.

Not a bad college but room for improvement.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful with great insight into the field. Had many guest faculty members from the industry who were also helpful during internships and placements. Various classroom activities and assignments required stepping out of the college campus to do it.

If you wish to join SIMC, think again.

Faculty: The course curriculum is designed well but it is not covered well. There are very few lectures covering vast syllabus. Only are few faculty members are interesting and know about there subject. There are only 3 permanent faculty for audio visual course which is too less for amount of fees charged to the students. Facility is a huge disappointment.

A great college to be in. Amazing life on the hills.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful. The knowledge that is shared is great. Various teaching methods are used to teach which includes theoretical as well as practical sessions. For example, students are taken out for photography assignments. There are various faculties who come from the industry to teach. They prepare us according to the industry and tell us about their experiences as well which is very helpful for us as students to prepare for the future. The course curriculum is useful as we ...

The college campus is on the top of a hill, which has an amazing view. There are more than five colleges and some 1000+ students residing on that luscious green hill. The food quality is good and they serve pure Maharashtrian meals. The breakfast is a must have. The faculty helps you on each step of your course as they are well qualified and make the lecture halls a lot interesting. The best part is the visiting faculty members join the institute mostly during weekends and along with the expe...
