In order to be eligible to apply for MBA at TAPMI, the applicant must have completed graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. In case of opting for an MBA in Technology Management, interested candidates must have a minimum of two years of work experience.

Moreover, final-year students are also eligible to apply. However, the admission shall be canceled if they are unable to obtain a minimum of 50% in their graduation.

TAPMI begins its MBA admission process by releasing the application form. Interested students must apply for preferred course by visiting the official website of the college. The college offers only an online mode of submission. No hard copies of the application form will be accepted as submissions. The TAPMI MBA application fee 2024 is INR 1,850.

TAPMI Manipal selects candidates for MBA based on their Management entrance exam scores. Below is the selection criteria along with weightage for MBA:

 The eligibility criteria for different MBA programs offered by TAPMI are as follows:
MBA (General/ Marketing/ HRM/ BKFS): UG degree with 50% aggregate.
MBA (International Business): UG degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) with not less than 50% overall aggregate marks in medical/para-medical/pharma.
MBA (Technology Management): UG degree with 50% aggregate and minimum two years of work experience.

TAPMI MBA applications can be submitted only in online mode. Interested students can submit their application by visiting the college’s official website. Students would be required to upload the following documents while filling out the application form:

• Class 10 and 12 marksheet
• CAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT scorecard
• Transfer certificate
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Identification proof
• Residential Proof
• Past academic certificates

TAPMI maintains an overal CAT percentile of 85 for its MBA course from the past three years (2020, 2021 and 2022) for the General All India category student. Considering the past three years cutoff percentile, there is high chances that a student can get a call from TAPMI with 80 percentile in CAT. However, final admission will be based on CAT/ XAT cutoff score, followed by candidates' performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. Also, the cutoff score vary for different catergory students.

The selection for MBA is based on Management entrance exam scores and GDPI round.
