Good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: 100% placement assistance is given to all students. 80% of the students get placed before final semester. College invites companies in campus for students who have not got placed in final year. This is last phase of placement where college helps students till december month (after final semester). 85% students gets an offer from atleast one company. Top companies are Oracle, Accenture, Infosys, Capgemini, LTI etc. Top course in IT and Computers is Cloud computing, Business Intelligence, Informat...

I had enthralling experience at Thakur college of engineering and technology.

Placements: Placements are very good for computer science. Placements are good for other departments like electronics and telecommunication, electronic whereas placements for the mechanical department are average. Mostly students of the mechanical department are recruited by IT companies. There is a lack of opportunities in core companies.

Review of Thakur College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, but not the best. However, you can say it has better placements than 90% of other colleges in Mumbai. Almost 60% of the students are placed. The college concentrates more on placements of the bright students than the average one. Most of the placements are provided in IT field no matter which branch one is studying.

The college fee is hefty, but it's a good college with good infrastructure.

Placements: Companies like Mahindra, Direct, Capgemini, Zycus, Oracle, Justdial, etc., visited during on-campus placements. Roles offered to the students were junior software developer, software tester and data analyst. Around 80-85% of the student got placed from eligible students. The average salary package offered is around 3.5-4 LPA. The placement cell here is quite good, and it provides assistance to students for both on-campus as well as off-campus placements. It is a great college for average and above average students. The expenses are on a bit higher side.

Placements: The college has a placement cell which is pretty good. They conduct a student development programme at the start of the semester. Placements for CMPN branch are above average. But if you are good, you will surely get placed. Also, the college provides plenty of internships throughout the course.

The college has really good infrastructure and environment.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. However, if you are an exceptional student, then you do get higher salary packages. Around one to two years ago, a student was offered a salary package of 12 LPA, and another student was offered a salary package of 7 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Infosys and JP Morgan visit the campus to offer placements.

I'm satisfied with good infrastructure, college support and facilities.

Placements: Most of the students in our college opt for higher studies, and thus, very few students apply for placements. The college provides placement opportunities to all the students, but in the end, it depends on whether the student wants to grab those opportunities or not. The lowest salary package offered for mechanical students was 1.20 LPA and the highest salary package offered was around 6 LPA. Around 50-60% of the students got internships. I haven't heard about the stipends yet. There is a placem...

It is a good college affiliated to Mumbai University.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch were good. Many of them were placed in companies like Accenture, Zycus etc. Apart from these, many other companies visited the college for phase 1 of placements. There is a training and placement cell which conducts seminars and trains students in aptitude, every academic year.

The college has decent crowd, amazing infrastructure and supportive staff.

Placements: The average salary package offered in the college is between 3-4 LPA. The highest salary package ever offered in the college was 35 LPA to a student by a Japanese company. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.50 LPA. The college offers good placement training to students. The college provides in-house internships for students during their summer and winter vacations.

The college has excellent infrastructure and faculty members. Placements were decent.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Most of the students got placed in some or the other companies. Core companies have visited in less number when compared to IT companies. Only Reliance Jio visited our college for electronics and telecommunications students.

I have selected the best college from my side which fulfil my requirement in future.

Placements: My college having good placement policy every year about 30 to 40 companies have arrived and hired all the eligible students. The companies are Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Tata Consultancy Services and much more. The institute conducts many seminars to improve student experience.

Best college with placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are good every year. Every year 50-70 companies visit for placements. Out of 400 students, 280 get placed. The staff are good and helpful. Last year 75 companies visited the college. Due to down market, this year 50 companies visited our college. TPO is too much helpful, and we have placements. The highest salary offered till now is 22 lakhs per annum and the lowest if 1.80 LPA.

Fully satisfying the need of a student but costly.

Placements: There is a placement cell in my college. Most of the people got job in IT field and not in core. Only 2 people got job in core company last year. Placement percentage is approximately 60 percent. Almost 50 percent students get internship and no stipend is offered from the internships offered by the college.

Very helpful if you adhere to some of its protocols.

Placements: Placements are shown to be 100% (*not true) of those who are eligible for it, people are denied eligibility based on factors as mundane and superfluous like attendance. So if you are going to be attending the college 24*7, its a good BET. Placements will be subjective based on individual skills and things he or she has done in life, so can't always blame college.

Review of Thakur College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: There are no placements for civil engineering students. If you want placements in civil stream, then don't join Thakur College of Engineering. The students of other branches have good placements. Our college offers internships to the students, but they charge a high amount for internships.

A review of Thakur College of Engineering and Technology. Its infrastructure is on the rise.

Placements: The placements here are average. The fact is that engineering students are made to mug up the concepts, so they do not get the dream job they desire. The companies that visit the college are Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Oracle and Accenture. The placements, as I told, are average, but if you get one, it's best you can get even at a low starting salary.

Good environment for students. Faculty are moderate. Placements are okay. Infrastructure is good.

Placements: Placements are not that good in the mechanical branch as this branch is very new in our college. It started just 6 years ago, and only two batches have passed out. In this college, the placements in the core field are less, and about 30 out of 200 students are placed, but you can get placed in IT company which is much better placement wise. The number of students getting placements is also high.

Great infrastructure, good faculty, but the placements can be better.

Placements: For the current placements, the highest salary offered is 7Lacs, and the lowest is 3Lacs. There was also an internship drive, but not much of the students got the internship this time, still, some of them got, the highest stipend was 6k, and the lowest was 1k. The placement cell is good, it's above average. They will help in some cases if you are a sincere student.

Thakur College of Engineering and Technology. The technology in a nutshell.

Placements: The college placements are decent enough. Out of all the students who registered for placements last year, almost 92% of them got placed. Whereas this year so far 72% of the students have got placed and more companies are yet to come. The average salary offered was close to 3.2 Lacs per annum whereas the highest salary offered was around 6 Lacs per annum. The lowest salary offered was of 1.20 Lacs per annum.
