It is the best college in Mumbai.
Placements: Many companies visit our college from December to January. Top recruiting companies are TCS, J.B. Morgan, etc. These companies provide good salary packages. Our college provides internships and good placement opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are not available in our college. The canteen is good. The food served in the canteen is good. The campus is good.
Faculty: The exam structure is good and depends on the curriculum of the University of Mumbai. We have internal exams for 25 marks and final exams for 75 marks. All the exams are conducted by the college, but the final year exams are conducted by University of Mumbai. Students can achieve good marks with this pattern.
Other: The campus crowd is good. The garden is the best.

Faculty members are exceptionally good, highly knowledgeable, kind and helpful.
Placements: None of the companies or employers visited our college for recruiting biotech students. Biotech students on their own have to apply for the companies regarding vacancies or placements. There are recruitment drives for commerce, BMM and BMS students but none for biotech students. I wish our college can tie-up with biotech and pharma companies at least consider visiting our college for recruitment, and our college needs great improvement in this aspect.
Infrastructure: The biotech department has a well-equipped laboratory with all the necessary equipment required for performing basic experiments. The lab needs an air conditioner at the earliest as it is impossible to attend practical sessions wearing a thick lab coat in the months of June-July when it is hot and humid outside. The library is well maintained with a huge collection of books which students can read in the library or take home and return at a set date. Classrooms are well kept, spacious and have huge windows which let in a good amount of natural light. Wi-Fi facility is available in the college but not for students. The password is a well-guarded secret. The food served in the canteen should be avoided at all costs, and consider eating it only if you are about to starve yourself. Our friends have food poisoning, infections, etc., after having food here. After proper diagnosis, food consumed here was to blame. At best, you can have tea or black coffee here to keep you awake for your lectures. The canteen is huge and spacious, but they need some cleanliness lessons as soon as possible.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best part of this course. Teachers are highly knowledgeable and have total command over the subject. Teachers make sure that every student gets attention according to their understanding of the subject. Our head of department even encouraged us to stay back after college hours to ask doubts and concepts, which we didn't get in the lecture. Students can't find a single fault or qualm in this aspect of our course. The teaching quality was exceptionally high, but not the same for the course curriculum. The course curriculum, especially in the first year, was full of modules and content, straight up copy-pasted from the B.Sc zoology syllabus. The syllabus in the first year was far off from what is required as biotech students. There are some modules in this course which totally encourage rote learning. Students can safely conclude that the course modules encourage curiosity about biotechnology as a whole but fall short of making students industry-ready.
Other: I wish our college needs great improvement in the recruitment and employment aspects specifically for our course. The college needs to encourage internships and lab research opportunities for at least the final year students to boost their CV. There are a lot of events in the college during the course like Taarangan, Fusion, etc. I don't think the college offers scholarships and I suggest students should enquire if they do.

Good for studies as well as extra curricular activities.
Placements: 50-60% students are placed from different courses. The lowest salary-1LPA. Average salary offered-2. 5LPA. Infosys, TCS, Asian paints, MAQ software, Accolite, Credence analytics are some recruiters. 50% of the students are recruited in the interview even though they all are not for the Science Students but if you are from other course like B.M.M. COMMERCE you would definitely find it interesting.
Infrastructure: There's a separate lab for our course and every department has a maintained laboratory and the availability of materials are enough for whole class to work in pairs. There is a huge library for the students to gain knowledge and there are more than enough books in the library.
Faculty: Our department teachers are very helpful in both studies and extra curricular activities. They are helpful in providing notes. They inform us about the events happening in the college. They encourage us to volunteer in the events happening in the college.

Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure in the classrooms. There are good labs for practicals, good canteen, open area and a great canteen with varieties of delicacies.
