Why choose Thangal Kunju Musliar Institute of Technology?
Placements: 50% students are placed every year in our college. The average package offered in our course is 4-5 LPA. Top recruitment companies of our college are TATA, Infosys, Technopark, etc. Over 70% of the students got internships in our course which were very helpful.
Infrastructure: Our college provides one of the best facilities in all of Kerala. We have a library with a vast collection of books, magazines, articles, etc. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors for virtual learning, and the labs are all equipped with new technology and equipments. The hostel facility is top notch providing very tasty and healthy hygienic food. The college also organizes sports days, tournaments, matches, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable, qualified and experienced but a majority of them are rude, rash and very strict towards the students to a point that it is unbearable. The semester exams in the college are medium difficult, they are neither too hard nor too easy as the teachers assist us.

Satisfied overall, very bad washrooms facilities.
Placements: A good number of students of TKM Institute of Technology were placed in the current batch that's going to pass out this semester. Sutherland, Infosys, UST Global, etc., are the recruiting companies that offered campus placements to TKM Institute of Technology.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good except the washroom facilities. Laboratories are provided for the CS students. Wi-Fi cannot be accessed by students; it can only be accessed during lab for sending program attachments to emails. The library has great facilities and various books for different departments.
Faculty: The faculty is great; they teach pretty well. Highly qualified teachers, helpful, knowledgeable, they provide good quality of teaching. Teachers put their maximum effort into teaching. The semester exams are on a moderately difficult level as it is affiliated to KTU.

Dissatisfied because of the overall college life. Good faculty for the most part.
Placements: The college has a high percentage of students getting placed, around 80% of the students who don't have a backpaper will get placements. But, the companies which students are getting placed in don't have the greatest reputation. For example, this year most of the passouts got placed in a company called Sutherland which does not have the greatest reputation in terms of work environment and salary scheme. But still getting placed is easy as long as you don't get backpapers. The roles vary from company to company.
Infrastructure: You have to pay for the Wi-Fi fees, but you won't get access to the Wi-Fi, which is very *** in my opinion. There are new labs being built which have very good equipment especially for CSE students. The classrooms are very bad, it does not look like a professional college classroom, it looks like a school's classroom. The library is full of technical books, which is good. But has nothing for entertainment or literature. The hostel food is very bad, and there is a low level of ragging in the hostel. Food at the college canteen is good, there's no medical facilities other than first aid, for sports and games, there's football, cricket, basketball, table tennis and there's a gym.
Faculty: The overall quality of teachers is difficult to gauge, there are some teachers who are very good at teaching and others who are lackluster. They are qualified teachers, but the quality of teaching varies a lot. The course curriculum is relevant and it does make the students entry-level ready. Semester exams are very hard. 47.3% is the pass rate for all pass students.
Other: The college events are fine, but not that extravagant. The vibe of the college overall is a "forest".

The college is vibrant and energetic.
Placements: The majority of students who passed out without backlogs were placed in campus placements, with the highest package being 32 LPA and the average being 6 LPA. The top recruiters are startups and internships are mainly for the last few years or third years.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure, of course, are top-notch and best in KTU, and Wi-Fi facilities are not commonly available but with permission. Hostels are a great place to meet new people and make new friends. Hostel food is not as good as home food but it is okay and satisfying.
Faculty: Semester exams are very stressful, as in the whole world and the environment and vibe of college would change according to the exam. The course curriculum is not up to industry requirements but frequent visits by industry experts are very helpful for being prepared.
Other: Good college.
