I'm dissatisfied due to placements for mechanical engineering. Teachers and infrastructure are best.

Placements: I am from the 2015 batch, and I will be passed out in 2019. About 30% of the students from our course placed. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 3.9 LPA. Bosch was the top recruiting company for our course, and the top role offered in our course was R&D. All the students got internship opportunity in various companies like Toyota, Bosch, Mercedes, HAL, etc.

It is a good course. There are remarkable faculty and sophisticated labs.

Placements: Regarding placements, students are expected to get placed in the companies in which the internship and project did in the 3rd and 4th semester, respectively. Even placement activity is conducted for engineering students. Salary offered depends upon the company, and it ranges from 3 LPA to 8 LPA for freshers. Top recruiting companies are Philips, TCS, L&T, ABB, Yashakava, etc. An engineer is a role offered for freshers. For a fresher, the salary package offered in our course starts from 4 LPA to ...

Lucky to be the student of such a college.

Placements: Placements are extremely good. Many companies were called by placement officer. More than 100 companies visited our campus. The CS/is placement was especially good. Civil and mechanical was bit dull. The placement officer is very good and co-operative. Helped the students a lot.

Completely satisfied with quality and faculty and having hope in getting placed.

Placements: Several top mechanical core companies like Mercedes-Benz, Bosch, Vedanta, TVS Motors, Eveready, Atlas, BEL etc. Came for every year. Most of the mass companies like TVS, Accenture etc. Also allow mechanical engineers to take the test. About 50 students per year are recruited to core companies and 150 are selected to other companies. Internships are mandatory for 6th semister students. It should be of one month. The highest salary is 28 Lacs for IT students for mechanical students it is 9 Lacs. M...

Also IT companies like TCS, Accenture heir the students from different branches. Apart from mechanical, many software companies like Cisco, Hp etc. Visit the college. Being among the top 100 colleges in India is not easy. So NIE has its own status in Karnataka.

Placements: As far as mechanical engineering placements in our college, it has been quite down this year I. e. , for our seniors batch. There are hopes that the problem will be rectified for our batch. Myself being placement co-coordinator will make sure that better placements take place the coming year. Around 80% students are placed right now in our branch. The highest package was 10L per annum that was offered by BEL. The lowest would be TCS for 3.5 Lacs per annum. Mercedez Benz, Bosch, Accenture, Wipro ...

Overall college is good and has healthy atmosphere with 0% ragging rate.

Placements: Our college has good placements. We can attend mass companies as well as core. If one is placed in mass company he/she can attend the core company but vice versa is not allowed. If a student is placed he/she is supposed to pay rs 5000 for placement activity of college. Some of the companies that visited our college for year 2017-18 are BEL, CISCO, Indian Navy, TCS, Accenture, Toyata Kirloskar, TVS, Eveready Ltd etc. This year 449 UG students have been placed in which 93 students are from mechani...

I am very much happy to be a part of this college.

Placements: The placements were really good, and the support from the teachers is also good. The companies flow was also good. In fact, it is a very good place to study. BE will be good, and exposure is great. I prefer to BE rather than M.Tech, but M.Tech education is also good. The teachers over there are very supportive of the students regarding the project and research.

Placements: The placement cell was not so effective, but now, new placement officer was appointed who is working so efficiently to get companies on to campus. For mechanical, companies like Robert Bosch, Mercedes Benz, Vedanta, Toyota, Lam Research, Continental, L&T and so on are regularly attending our college for campus recruitment. Good infrastructure. Student-friendly faculty. Nice campus and labs.

Placements: If the placements are compared with our senior batch, it has bit reduced. Most of the companies are coming to our college, but the intake of the students are very less. It is said that the placements will further reduce in the upcoming years. In core companies, about 30 students are placed, and in mass recruiters (TCS and Accenture) about 40 have placed. As of January, the highest package provided is 7.8lakh by Vedanta ltd. The lowest is 3 LPA by EASi engineering. The average salary is about 4.5...

Placements: The placements were above average in our college. Most of the students got placed. Computer Science students were in demand during the placements. However, there was a considerable number of core companies as well. The average package was around 5 LPA. Completely satisfied with the infrastructure of the college. Good placements & basic facilities

Placements: As I'm still in the 3rd year, I'm not having much knowledge about placements but yes, I do know that there are a lot of chances of getting placed in the campus selections. They provide us with the placement training camp right after the exams and teach us how to behave during the interviews. The faculty members are excellent at providing the best training program. Even during the placements, they help us a lot.

The best college in Mysore/Bangalore.

Placements: The placements were good compared to other colleges since placements are a little low for the civil engineering stream. In civil engineering, around 50%(since many opted for higher education instead of placements) got placed in our batch. L&T Construction, ATKINS, Gulf, Brigade and Mantri Developers are the regular companies that recruit. Internship programmes are also conducted for interested students in Bangalore or Mysore. The highest package was around 6 LPA. ...

Placements: The placements are good. For civil, we have core companies like L&T, Atkins, Brigade Constructions to name a few and numerous IT companies. The placement cell is ISO 9001:2008 certified which likes to ensure fair opportunities for placements to all deserving students. Industry-institute partnership is strong too.

NIE is one of the top 10 colleges in Karnataka. It’s a private aided & an autonomous college. Consist of 2 buildings, one for practical purpose other for theoretical. Best for the student who wants to study civil & mechanical branches. Main highlighted point is, individual student will be encouraged to know about the total station thoroughly, which normally you can’t see in other colleges. Very good labs, practical demos, Stad pro & Auto cad facility. There will be a survey camp in the academic ...
