I am not satisfied with choosing M.Tech dissertation.
Placements: I completed my M.Tech in 2018, and placements are nill for M.Tech students. Few supervisors are friendly, and they help you to write your dissertation, but few members are not helpful. So, you need to study on your own. Only 10% of the students got internships, and I was one of them.
Infrastructure: The library has sufficient books according to the typical old course curriculum. There will be an older version of lab software like Xilinx, and it is not updated. Wi-Fi and library are free to use for postgraduate students. Postgraduate students can also use the bus facility to go anywhere in Bhopal.
Faculty: Few faculty members in our college are very good and helpful. I am from VLSI department. My supervisor was Dr Vikas Gupta, who is very supportive and helpful for my dissertation. If you are willing to do something extra, then you need to ask and get special permission to do so. Surely, our college will allow students for industrial training or internships.
Other: I chose this course because I am good and interested in VLSI. VLSI is a very good growing industry in India. I wish that the college should try to provide internships in central government organisation.
