Our college has good infrastructure.

Faculty: Our teachers are fair and knowledgeable. Our college is affiliated with Anna University. The pass percentage is 50%. Exams are conducted strictly. If you are caught doing unnecessary activities or malpractice, you'll be banned by the university from attempting exams for five years.

Overall college is at its best and is improving day by day to enhance the skills of students.

Faculty: Faculty members are co-operative and they are friendly as well as strict for the students. Almost 70% course completion is there. Teachers are qualified enough to deal with any problems of students. They are hard working also. Students can share their problems without hasitation. If needed teachers use projectors to teach the students. Industry exposure from third year as well. Courses provided by the Aktu are good enough and are useful for the engineers for their future studies.

Average placement and fine facilities.

Faculty: Some faculty members are fine. But some have ego sort of problem within department this didn't affect teaching but it affected doing in other events. This is not considered to be good. Rest of them are talented and clarify doubts if it is not their subjects.

Good infrastructure and friendly faculty are ready to help. Knowing Tamil(speak) is important here.

Faculty: The faculty members of this college are good. Most of them are friendly. Some are with good experience. A few are rude, but this is in every college. There are some new staff members, who are not good at teaching, but that is okay. They cover all their syllabus, so no need for extra coaching or tuition. In fact, they arrange extra classes for a weaker student with no extra charges.

Review of my college and the department.

Faculty: Our department faculty members were technically good. They provided special training sessions for better scoring. All of them took their class nicely and they were friendly with us. Our department faculty members' teaching method is completely different from other department faculty members. They share about current affairs and industry exposure during class hours.

United Institute of Technology - pros and cons.

Faculty: Faculty members are leaving the college drastically. Only new staff members with good knowledge should be appointed. As far as civil engineering is concerned, there are only a few knowledgeable staff members. The institution should spend more on salary for the staff and equip the college with good knowledge and great lecturing skills.

Absolutely the best for students because of management.

Faculty: Our college faculty members are very helpful persons. They are helpful not only during class hours, but also in the free time, you can definitely meet them and ask any details. Quality-wise and handling-wise, they are the best. The students-faculty ratio is 15:1. Monthly once, we get the industry exposure.

Awesome place for average students.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very friendly. They didn't just teach us only about the subject, instead, they guided us and showed us a path to our future. I felt very grateful to have such a friendly faculty team. Most of them are alumni of GCT, CIT, etc. The student to faculty ratio is 30:1. Since we were allowed to go to the internship during the last semester, we have got a lot of industry experience.

Being a relatively new college (started in year 2009), the infrastructure is still in development stage. However, the college has good industry linkages and number of companies which come for placement but it is steadily rising. 50 companies came when I was in my final year, with an average package of 3 LPA. Classes are regular and most sessions are very interactive. There are guest lectures as well as industry visits organized quite frequently. The number of students per class is around 40, sin...
