It has good faculty members, good placement and good infrastructure.
Placements: In UIET, KUK, a good percentage of students get placement every year, and that is around 80%. Recently, three students got placed with a salary package of 12 LPA in BEL company. About 15-20 students also got placed in companies like TCS, Infosys, BEL, etc., with an average salary package of 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Rooms of UIET are well-maintained and clean with good-condition benches. For combined classes of guest lectures, there are different rooms with large capacity and a projector for advanced study. Rooms are well-lighted and airy. Labs are also in good condition with all equipment and tools working properly.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable. Some newly placed teachers may not be good in the communication course, but 80% of teachers will definitely guide the best. The level of semester exams is also not that hard. It is bearable to students. The course curriculum is also good.
Other: Faculty members of UIET, KUK are weak in college fests, events, etc. Moreover, students also do not show much interest in participating in various activities and competitions in college. Rest all the things are good here.

About faculty members, course curriculum, and infrastructure of the college.
Placements: A wide range of companies from various sectors, including IT, core engineering, finance, and consulting, visit for recruitment. Major recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, L&T, Amazon, etc. UIET provides training programs, workshops, and mock interviews to help students prepare for the placement process. There is also a dedicated training and placement cell that plays a key role in coordinating placement activities. Internships are also an important part of the placement preparation. Some students manage to secure internships at reputed companies, which can later turn into full-time offers.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern teaching aids such as projectors, smart boards, and Wi-Fi, making them conducive for both theoretical and practical learning. Each hostel has a mess providing regular meals, which generally cater to vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. Some students feel that the food quality can be improved, but it generally meets basic needs. UIET offers separate hostels for both boys and girls, that are situated on or near the campus. Rooms are typically shared, but some single rooms may also be available. Hostels are furnished with basic amenities like beds, tables, chairs, and wardrobes.
Faculty: Teaching staff members at UIET are generally dedicated and knowledgeable. They employ modern teaching methods, including interactive sessions, case studies, and real-life examples, to make complex topics more understandable. Professors are also approachable for academic guidance and research work. Some faculty members have significant research experience in their fields.

College is good to join if you are not able to take the admission in IIT and NIT.
Placements: The overall percentage of placement in college is not bad, but we want more placement opportunities. According to my knowledge, the highest package in my presence is about 11 lakhs per annum. According to the 2024-2025 session, main recruiters are Infosys, ABACA System, etc.
Infrastructure: On the college campus, there is a complete facility of Wi-Fi for all the students of the institute with a prescribed ID and password for every individual. Labs are fully furnished with a good environment for our practical knowledge. Hostels are very well furnished, and the environment is also very nice in hotels.
Faculty: Teachers of this institution are very well-behaved and very helpful in nature, and they always support students in their studies. They don't only focus on academic knowledge, but they also teach us about our day-to-day new things, which help us in our counseling. The exam pattern is also relevant for all.
Other: Placement in Electronics and Communication Engineering branch is not so good.

    Every thing about UIET KUK.
Placements: Almost all students get placements, especially those who actively participate in their studies, extracurricular activities, and placement drives. Last year, some students even got placed in BEL, the PSU. There are many opportunities, but they are only for students who are willing to give their 100%.
Infrastructure: Hostel does not have Wi-Fi, but it has automatic washing machines and bearable mess food. Medical facilities are not available in the hostel but are provided for the whole university at the university health center. Very few facilities are available at the university health center.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and are ready to invest their energy and time for the sake of students. Subjects like English, technical, universal human values, and core subjects are chosen very precisely. Exams are of good difficulty, but if we study, we can score excellent marks.
Other: The things I want to improve in my college are that the facilities are good, but the authority takes too much time to implement them. Market rates should be regulated.

Satisfied because of faculty and placements.
Placements: Out of 500 students, around 200 got placed, and the highest and the lowest packages offered through on-campus were 11 LPA and 3.36 LPA. Top recruiting companies at that time were Infosys, TCS, Yamaha Motors, Wipro, Embitel Technologies, and roles offered were related to Software Engineering.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available, classrooms are neat and clean. I was a day scholar, but the food of the mess is not nice, but the hostel is fine. Classrooms are generally equipped with smartboards, whiteboards, and projectors. There are many health centers around the university and many shops and markets are there.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful at that time, and they were well qualified and educated. Quality of teaching is very good, but placements were not relevant to the branch, mostly IT companies visited at that time. Maybe now the scenario would be different for other branches.

    UIET KURUKSHETRA values education.
Placements: All the students who are eligible for placement are placed at a good package. The highest package offered by our institute is 28 lakhs per annum and the average package is 8 lakhs per annum. Various companies visit our college for placement like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Yamaha, and many more. Students interested in doing internships are taken by various companies for a few months.
Infrastructure: There are various facilities provided by our institute like good Wi-Fi, fully AC labs and library, good classrooms, good infrastructure, and a well-maintained building. Hostel facilities include Wi-Fi. The quality of food available in the mess is not very good.
Faculty: The teaching staff is well-qualified and has proper knowledge of their respective subjects. The teaching quality is good, and teachers have good behavior towards students. The semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is about 80-90 percent.
