The biggest plus point in the favor of UIET is the tag of its university , Panjabi University which was number one university according to many surveys in the preceding year. The campus of college is pretty okay with 2 blocks, one canteen in the center and a workshop at the back side. Though the campus of complete university is great with greenery all around including a market, a huge playground, etc. Curriculum of the college is pretty okay and in common with other colleges. Labs and workshops...

First of all it’s an autonomous institute and faculty is decent, as it is situated in university campus so full greenery, also lots of different fest and programs are now being organized by college. College infrastructure is ok (don't expect much), fee is also affordable.

Infrastructure is best but due to some staff members some problems are created. Fees taken from the students is very high as related to the facilities provided. Classrooms are non AC and due to the lack of some facilities students face some problems as well. Administration is just increasing the number of students not taking care of the quality.

Good reputation but faculty needs to be more knowledge based ,not money minded and should be vast in case of views not only bookish information. Faculty was poor and not worthy. Not even a single person was honest and crowd was not open to changes. They were following same trend. Nobody was encouraged. Teachers humiliate the students on basis of money, caste and creed and nobody takes action any action.

High cutoff and Very intelligent crowd. Average Faculty and minimal placement efforts. Good facilities in college for Biotechnology. Computer Science, IT and Electronics faculty and placements not very satisfactory. Also, the fees is very high. Prefer Chemical Engineering at UICET as compared to CSE, IT, ECE at UIET.

It's a fine college you can get if you can at your rank by seeing the cutoff for previous years.

Placements: 81 out of 120 students were placed in ECE branch on this ongoing year. DDRO is a major recruiter in our branch for core placements. The highest placement on campus was 25 Lacs per annum, while off campus was 40 Lacs. This was for the whole college not just ECE branch.

This college is decent. If you have other options, then go for that. Overall, college is good.

Placements: Placements are decent. The maximum salary package is 12 LPA, and the minimum is 3 LPA. The average placement is 4 LpA. You have to work really hard for placements. The mass recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, etc.

Faculty members are good, and there is a lot of hope.

Placements: There has been no improvement in placements, especially for the mechanical, electrical and biotechnology students. Placements are offered only to computer science, electronics and IT students. The salary package offered to the students is more than 5-6 LPA.

Placements are improved this year.

Placements: As I am a member of the training and placement cell, and I have seen placements of our senior batch closely. A lot of our seniors got placed, and even some are yet to get placed. A huge number of students from CSE and IT branches got placed, but mechanical engineering branch students are finding it quite difficult to get placed. On average, there are 105 placement offers for CSE and IT students in a class of 100 students. But due to lack of companies and lack of opportunities to students of othe...

Faculty is average, and placements need to improve, infrastructure is average.

Placements: Placements are not so good even in CSE branch, which is a matter of concern. The highest salary package offered last year was around 8 LPA, and the average is 3-4 LPA. There are many companies visited for placements which are not reputed companies. Most of the companies visited are mass recruiting companies like TCS.

The good study experience is provided because of qualified teachers.

Placements: Placements in our college differ from branch to branch. The placement process is under three ways. Students need to have 7 CGPS to attend the placements. Some companies have a group discussion in the first round, and some have an aptitude test. After qualifying both the rounds, there is a two interview of 45 minutes each. Companies like Infosys, Deloitte, etc., visit our campus for placements.
