It is a very good college in a very pleasant city.

Placements: Placement officer isn't very open about the number of placements but what I have heard from my friends was that they could get placed with a decent package of about 4-5 LPA. Major companies like Mu Sigma, TCS, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, etc., visited the campus. Students are shortlisted with aptitude tests, and subsequently, they move ahead with their group discussion rounds before final interviews take place.

Students have to approach the faculty to learn.

Placements: Placement cell's efficiency of bringing good and renowned companies increased year by year. At first, IT companies were prominent, but in coming years core companies of other branches have also attracted the college. Placement cell makes sure that students can also attend the drives in other colleges where some good companies visit.

I am satisfied with the faculty placement and the environment offered by the college.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. The average salary package offered was around 6 LPA. Almost all the students got placed in various companies like ZS Associates, Deloitte, Infosys, etc. Some companies also provide summer training for 6 months and then offer PPO to students according to their performance in training.

A place where you can reshape your future.

Placements: Placements were above average. Most students got placed, and some got really good packages, but placement cell lacks somewhere in uplifting students with low grades. It has that capability to perform better than this. MBA graduates also performed quite good.

Decent college to opt for.

Placements: Placements are good enough if you are looking for IT sector jobs, like the best package was around 14 lac so overall it is a good college. But in core branches, rather core companies, very few placements say 5-10 in a class of 80 with package of 4.5-6.5 lac. Obviously u can sit in non-core in need of a job.

UIET, PU is the best college for mid-rankers above 30,000 ranks.

Placements: Companies like ZS Associates and Deloitte visit the campus every year and offer salary packages anywhere around 6-8.50 LPA. Almost 20-30 students get placed in these companies. The college has a tie-up with Infosys which is a mass recruiter and definitely selects students from the campus. Also, Clicklab and Sapient are visitors during the placements. The highest salary package offered was 8.50 LPA, and the average was around 3-4 LPA.

I am thrilled because of all the concepts this college has taught me.

Placements: Students here have good calibre, and they get placed in good companies. Although the college has a placement cell, both, the number of students who get placed and the number of companies that visit the campus can be improved. The college must put in more efforts to help students get internships.

Our college has amazing infrastructure and teaching staff.

Placements: In 2015, the college achieved 100% placement record. Reputed companies and also startups visited the campus. Students were provided with all the material required to prepare for placements. Alumni helped us to gain insight into the company profiles. Overall, it was a professionally enriching experience.

Extremely satisfied with everything.

Placements: Placements of our batch are great. Around 80% of the students were placed. Every year, a countless number of companies such as Impinge (a Chandigarh based company), Wipro, Infosys, TCS etc., visit our campus. I got placed in Airtel with a package of 7 LPA. The highest package offered was 20 LPA and the lowest package offered was 3 LPA. Almost the whole class got internships, and we got handsome stipends. The training and placement cell is very efficient.

Dreamlife at PU comes true when you involve yourself in it.

Placements: I was a placement coordinator for the mechanical. The mechanical department has seen a downfall in getting placement opportunities. Only eight senior students out of 80 got placed in the campus placements. One reason being disinterest of students themselves in placement activities. Around 32 students of our batch out of 79 got placed in both core and non-core companies. The highest salary package offered was 7.2 LPA.

A perfect college in every aspect.

Placements: Placements are good. Almost 100% for CSE and IT. Somewhat less for other branches. Decent packages. Good companies visit the campus every year. Average package is 4-5 LPA. Packages depend on the capability of the students. A little effort would land you to good place.

Placements: Placements are very good at B.Tech level with an average package of around 4-5 lacs, although there is negligible placements in ME. Training and placement cell of this college is very active although. Hope to see good campus placement for ME next year.

Campus in the heart of the city beautiful.

Placements: The placements of CSE and IT streams are quite good but in case of ECE and MECH they fall short. The highest on campus package offered was 10-11lakh P. A. and minimum was 4lakh. Infosys was the mass recruiter of 2016 batch. Deloitte took the top rankers. Placement cell gave their 100% and it was totally upto the mark.
