Review of University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering.

Placements: More than 90% of the students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 5-6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Few most renowned companies like Atlassian, SAP, Microfocus, Rakuten, Philips, CISCO, Juniper Networks, Dell, etc., visit our campus for placements. Roles like a developer, tester, analyst and business analyst are offered to the students. In our college, most companies offer for job a...

I am satisfied with faculty and placements but dissatisfied with the infrastructure.

Placements: Three members were placed from our branch. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Textron is the top recruiting company for our branch. Only 8 members get the internship from our branch in the companies. The junior analyst was the top roles offered to our branch members.

The best college with very low tuition fee.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. As far as its placements are concerned, our college stood after colleges like RVCE, JSS, and NIT Mysore, with a college rating of 8.4. There is a good placement office. They started conducting placement training sessions from this year, i.e., the second year of our course, but those sessions are supposed to start from the 3rd year.

Our college is the best home of knowledge and opportunities.

Placements: This is one of the best colleges, and it offers the highest number of placement opportunities along with nice packages for every branch when compared with all the colleges in Bangalore. The packages begin from 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is around 14-15 LPA. Many government companies also visit this college and recruit many students. Even the alumni of our college offer many placement opportunities.

Placements in our college are excellent. It has good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: One of the best things about UVCE, Bangalore is its placements. It has been consistently 100% over the years. I remember my seniors getting placed in major OEMs from different industries. Especially software and IT majors like SAP, Oracle, mechanical and automotive companies like Volvo, GM, and financial institutes and banks visit the college to offer placements every year.

Review of University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering.

Placements: The only thing that attracts many people to this college is the placements. The sad part is that despite being in other domain, we had many opportunities in the IT sector. I was placed in Accenture job before the completion of my course. The number of students got placed was pretty pleasing. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA.

Getting admission in UVCE is a lifetime opportunity.

Placements: Placements provided by the college were good for our batch and will be extremely good for the upcoming batches. The average salary package offered was around 4 LPA, and the highest offered was more than 12 LPA. The roles offered to placed students were mainly in the IT sector, and they are the software developer, test analyst, etc. Placement cell was extremely helpful in grooming the students.

UVCE is incredible but not cliched.

Placements: The placement statistics have always been good for UVCE. More than 150 companies visit our college with various job profiles and salaries. Companies like SAP, McKinsey Digital, Microsoft and VMW offer a package of 15 LPA. Every year, 80% of students from ISE, CSE and ECE get placed. 50% of the students from mechanical and EEE also get placed. The average salary for ISE and CSE is about 5.5 LPA according to my calculations.

Our college is good in terms of placements, but bad in terms of infrastructure.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. The placements mainly depend on the branches. CSE students have 100% placements, and mechanical students have the least placements. The companies that visited the campus to offer placements include Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft etc. The least package offered was 3.25 LPA, and the highest package was 9 LPA. Overall, it's a great college in terms of placements.

An old golden story with golden memories.

Placements: Placements are really good in the organisation with final year students handling the placement cell completely. More then 100 well established companies visit the campus every year, major ones are Dell, Oracle, VMware, SAP, Microsoft, Accenture, Wipro and etc.

Absolutely fruitful in terms of placements, which was less tasty in my period.

Placements: The placements in our college are good. The placements were not less than 80% for our batch, and for our senior batch, they were not less than 85%. The highest package offered is 13 LPA, and the lowest package is 2-3 LPA. We have an efficient placement cell in our college.

Review of University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering.

Placements: The placements for our batch and the senior batch were good. Almost 90% of the students got placed in good companies. The highest package offered was 14.4 LPA, and the least was 2.5 LPA. Most of the students got jobs as developers, and a few were offered some other roles like testing and support.

I am happy with the college as it provided good knowledge for life with better qualities.

Placements: The placements for our batch were quite low in percentage, but overall, it was good. Compared to our senior batch, we had less placements. The successful placements on the campus were because of our good placement coordinators and our placement cell. Their hard work paid much in our placements.

Struggles of UVCEians which becomes their strength.

Placements: For our seniors, in CSE department, around 75% of the students got placed. For us placement process has just begun. 2-3 companies recruited few students. Companies are expecting more from our college students actually. Little support and encouragement are expected of professors. Teaching is good. Management can be made little strict about attendance and internal assessments. Many activities and events conducted flby students help them a lot in their HR interviews as students are very much active...

The college has good faculty and placements.

Placements: In terms of placements, UVCE is the best. But the salary package offered is a bit low compared to RV, Ramaiah, top colleges. The salary package offered in RV is 6 LPA, but the salary package offered here is 4 LPA for the same job. Still, many companies visit UVCE, and you can make the best use of that.

University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering.

Placements: Placements were relatively lesser than what had been for our seniors. Majority of the Core companies came to college in the form of pool campus. Very few mechanical companies offered core profiles. Nearly 30% of the students from mechanical engineering actually placed in mechanical companies.

Very Good placements in 2017, Bad infrastructure, Less fee structure, .

Placements: The placements here in this college are good enough for the students studying here. The placements here in this college are very good when compared to other colleges. There are many clubs in the college like I EEE and many. You can join those to get the certificates which will be helpful during placements.

Placements: The placements in our college for E&C branch is good. They give placement training from 3rd year itself and the students are very happy with the placements here in this college. Mostly 70 to 80% of the students get placed here for both core and mass companies.
