I love to visit college, because of Lecturers and faculty who taught were too supportive.
Placements: Placements during my period were very few. We attended many off campus interviews. College provided pre placement and softskill internship programme and industrial programs need some improvement. As the college comes under VTU Belagavi, many strict rules for placements, No core companies visited during our period. In our super senior many were placed in very good companies as compared to us. They only took us to another college for placements, and we attended for it. The company was Tech Mahindra.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure as compared to other colleges was not that satisfactory. Classroom and library needs some upgradation and improvements. No Wi-Fi was there during our period. Electrical labs were good with all new equipments. In college for there was lot of scope for sports. Physical education lecturer was too good. From our batch many were VTU blues. College provided free Gym Khan facilities. Mess food was average taste.
Faculty: Electrical and electronics department faculty was too good, helped us to learn so many new innovative works in electrical field. Overall staff was well qualified and supportive. They used PPTs, practical things were explained by lecturers. But we didn't get any industry exposure from department during our period.
Other: Every year Aavishakar techno-cultural fest was other, It was nice with many events organised different branches.

A good but not an excellent college. Overall, our batch can be rated 3 out of 5.
Placements: It has got really poor placement activity. Whatever few (5-6) companies that come here will be from either IT or BPO. For the core electrical, the placements here is zero percent. The preparation for the placement from the college side is also very less, and the placement team does it for the namesake.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, it can be rated 3 out of 5. The canteen and mess facilities are not that good, but manageable. The hostel rooms here can also be rated 3 out of 5. Some lab facilities are weak, especially in the mechanical engineering. Internet and Wi-Fi facilities are not very good. The library here has got a huge reading space with very few books.
Faculty: For the department of electrical and electronics, the teaching of the faculty is good. The faculty here cover the syllabus but don't provide more industrial knowledge. Also, the syllabus here is covered well in advance, and it is the only branch in VDRIT which is known to be very strict. Overall, teaching can be rated 3.5 out of 5.
Other: My suggestion will be to join this college. I developed myself very well in this college on my own. You also get many opportunities as this college is very small, but, if you want to join this college, please make sure that your placement responsibility is completely yours. Don't fall into a trap by seeing fake placement banner displayed outside the campus.

A decent college with good faculty members, but poor placements.
Placements: The placements here are not good. Very few companies visit our campus. For cse branch, 2 to 3 companies used to come. The students from other branches hardly get a chance. They used to send students to KLS gogte college for off-campus. But students rarely get opportunities there. The companies that come to college are of BPO, Call centre profiles.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good at this college, but not best. The library is spacious. Labs are also pretty good. Hostels are not at all maintained. And the mess inside the campus is not clean. Food is also below average. Improper utilisation of space on the campus. There are no issues with the infrastructure.
Faculty: The best part of this college is faculty. Especially EEE branch faculty members are resources of knowledge. Most of the PhD holding lectures are there in mechanical branch. Electronics, CS, civil lectures are also good.
Other: The location of the college is awesome. It is peaceful without any disturbances. But college needs to improve a lot regarding placements. If you are looking for plenty of companies at final year, then this is not the college to choose. But frankly speaking, teaching is good as I said, especially in electrical branch.

Worst placements/ great faculty/ nice campus and a nature-loving location.
Placements: The year when we joined our college, placements were moderate, but when we were passing out of the college, the placements were nil. Thankfully, the management has changed now so I am expecting a good future for the upcoming graduates so that they have placements. But if you ask me frankly, this is not the college where you have placements (even though you are talented), so the placement is the weakest part of the institute.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is moderate as well. There is a huge building for circuit branches and there are separate buildings for civil and mechanical branches. The mess and the canteen are strictly OK, but the auditorium is a huge mess because if you attend the function then the stage will not be visible to everyone because of the construction and it is too small, so partying and enjoying will be moderate. But the college is atmosphere-friendly because around the college, there is full of thick green grass and trees, but the ground is a mess because its like a gully cricket ground which is not maintained at all. We have a gym which is good and we spent a lot of time over there.
Faculty: Our EEE branch is thought to be one of the respected branches at our college. The faculty team is too strict and you need to be a very hardworking guy if you want to join EEE at our college. Talking about others, they are also good. One main thing is the teaching of the faculty members is very good. If you are good at grasping, then you have an edge here because they are having nice teaching skills and you can learn the things readily.
Other: The hostel is good. There was a water problem during our times but I think it is solved now. The scenery across the college is beautiful. It is a nature-friendly campus with thick green forests and near that, there were a number of visiting locations, so whoever is interested in traveling, they can have fun stuff over here. During our times, we enjoyed a lot. The only thing is that after passing out of the college, things gone worse with no jobs and a heavy struggle.

Paid nearly 3 lakhs for BE but all amount wasted.
Placements: It was the worst decision I took after completion of my 2nd PU. Thinking that it was nearer to my place, I joined VDRIT. Firstly they showed that nearly 25-40 companies come for placement. But the bitter truth is that in the final year, some 1-2 BPOs come. That too they offer 8k-10k salary. Whereas, when you apply directly to those companies, you can get nearly 12-15k. Also, I have heard from my seniors that the placement cell authorities take bribe if you need placement.
Infrastructure: Labs: Outside the labs, it is written that they have installed 100 Mbps high-speed internet.
But when you go there, you will hardly get 100 Kbps. Also, most of the time, many systems are occupied by other lecturers for their lab purpose, the rest are not functioning.
Classrooms: The classrooms are quite good. Desks and benches are maintained well.
Library: Some rules like no boys and girls can sit at one place to study, no group sitting makes the library looks like a boring school.
Medical facilities: Nil.
Sports: No encouragement.
Canteen: Only 1 in the entire campus.
Wi-Fi: Only in the principal's room.
Hostel: This is the only place where the students are happy.
Faculty: There are some good faculty members.
They try their level best to improve the student's life. They try every possible way to make them learn.
Also, there are lecturers who have an ego because of their seniority, due to which many students are failed purposely by the lecturers to make them understand that they are above us. That has made me sad.
Other: There are nearly 7-9 buses. But every alternate day, the drivers will be repairing one or the other part. I don't know what was the issue which occurred in every 2 days.
One thing I liked is that there is a temple recently constructed. That was the only place where we can study without gender discrimination. I personally completed my seminar as well as project by combined studies with my friends.
