The infrastructure of the college is not good, but we can have a good time at this college.

Placements: We are from the civil engineering branch, but many companies related to our core branch did not visit here. But some of our batchmates got placed in some companies like Byju's and other construction companies. Byju's offered a salary package that ranges from 7.5-10 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide a Wi-Fi facility. The library has some good places for reading and discussion, but the resources are limited. There is an own mess in the college. The cafeteria and the food served is good, but not great. Some labs are well-equipped, and some labs lack equipment. Classrooms are average, but not so much good. Sports and other activities are not much active here. Medical facilities are available here.

Faculty: The civil engineering faculty members are good. Except for 2 to 3 teachers, all other faculty members are good and experienced. I prefer the civil engineering department is better in this college. I am the civil engineering course, and it is an enjoyable course. Teachers handling this course are good, and they have much experience in teaching. Except for 2 to 3 teachers, all the faculty members are very good.

Other: There is only one college fest in a year which makes me bored. But you can enjoy the college ride due to its location in Haliyal. I had a great experience in 4 years. We can go and compete in other colleges at times of fest, and many colleges even come to this college for competition. Our college organises some technical seminars and some technical talks for the welfare of the students.

Nice college, minimal placements.

Placements: The placements were the worst. People studying over here will had to attend pool campus held by other institutes during our time. We passed out in 2015 and only CS students had a few companies for placement. So if you are willing to have a campus selection in your last sem then this is not the college for you. We searched for jobs after completion of our degree and struggled a lot. So it's up to you. For placements, a strictly no.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay, not up to the mark. There were five departments in the college. Out of them, EEE, ECE, and CS are located at the main building. Civil and mechanical are located in another building. The surroundings are awesome because of thick greenery. The college is built near to a forest, so it's a heavily nature-friendly area. Also, there are many places near the college where you can visit and chill out. An ordinary ground is there where we can play anything but it's not maintained well. If maintained well, the college infra will be good enough.

Faculty: My branch is civil engineering, and the faculty is okay. A few of the members are good, a few are bad. But the teaching is good and they take care of your academics. If you want hi-tech teaching staff then you'll be disappointed. But they are good enough to give you a knowledge which is important for you to become something in future. The labs are good and well maintained. The main thing is if you are a VTUian then you need to study very hard. So thumbs up for the faculty.

Other: Having said the above, we actually love our college. If you study well, you can become successful in future. There are many changes in the college now and I expect they are taking care of the placements. So, if you want to work hard in a beautiful environment and friendly institute where placements are very less, then you can go for it.
