No placements for B.Sc. psychology in victoria institutions college, Kolkata.
Placements: In our year (2021) the cutoff was high. I got 91% and my name came in 5th or may be 6th list. I'm a B.Sc. psychology student the package is 11k. Not too high for me. Honesty after doing graduation you're not going to get job at least you have to do M.Sc. or M.A. So no companies recruit us.
Infrastructure: We don't have Wi-Fi in our classes. We have very good lab and library is also very big you can easily find your required books. Classroom, washrooms are clean. I don't live in hostel. But heard hostels are very strict and it's in the college campus. The canteen food is also good. You can get chowmin, bread toast, egg pakora, cold drinks, luchi, ghugni. I don't know about medical facilities. Sports held once in a year.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful when it comes to practical. But in theory they don't help too much. Semester in Calcutta university is really very stressful and very difficult. You won't get time and somehow you have to finish your syllabus all by yourself way before time. You won't get 6 month. Hardly you'll get 4 month maximum. College also held extra curricular things like singing, drawing, quiz competition.
Other: I choose this course because I love psychology and I have interest in human behavior. It's so interesting. No complain about this course but practicals and experiments are really hard to do and finish. Not too many events happen in my college. You won't really get your "college life" vibes. Instead you'll get stress, projects, assignment, study and study in fact fest also don't happen it's really sad. But you'll make some really good friends.

Review of Victoria Institution.
Placements: About 60% of students were placed in the course. The maximum salary offered is Rs.11000 per month. Our college is good. Internships haven't been held yet. Maximum students are currently pursuing the psychology honors subject to study further about this. As a senior, we are inspiring our juniors to take this course.
Infrastructure: There are needful machines in the lab that are used to be done in practicals. The classroom is one for our department. The canteen is good but not so much. Our collegemates are good at sports. There is no mess on the college premises.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. They also teach us via online classes before the exam. They are very cooperative. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. We are under Calcutta University. The pass percentage is above 40%.
Other: I chose this course to become a psychologist in future. The best thing is that I want to study people's minds. If they face problems then I will be there to guide them. I wish I can do a Ph.D. successfully to become a psychologist. Scholarships are available but fest hasn't been done yet.
