Absolutely satisfied with faculty members, infrastructure, and curriculum

Placements: The placements were not good because only software companies visited, that too, just two-three companies. The packages were not up to the mark. The highest package was 3.5 lakhs per annum. Almost 20 students got placed, mostly from EC and CSE streams.

Good campus. Not so good placements.

Placements: The placement of the college is not good. Most of the people do not get a placement. They have to either go for off-campus placement or they pursue higher studies. The effort of the college in towards placement is very less. In my year, only 30 percent students got placed and that also in small scale companies.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement cell is very active. Thanks to Sheena ma'am, Rini ma'am and Paul sir. TCS, Infosys, Wheebox, Sutherland, Poornam etc. came for the placement drive. TCS hired almost 70 candidates from our batch. The students got a very good exposure to get placed. Conducted placement training programs. Also provided placement training activities twice a week. Very supportive and encouraging.

Average college life expected.

Placements: Due to the recession, placements in our college are less compared to previous years. Most students end up getting jobs in call centers and other startup companies. Only a few could secure placements at good companies. From my understanding, computer science students got the most placements.

The college provides good placement opportunities.

Placements: A fair number of companies come to our college every year for placements. Hotshots like Infosys, TCS among many other companies, come to the college every year and offer placements to students. Other companies include Sutherland, J&J, Amazon, etc., also come. The placement cell does a really good job.

Our college has a good infrastructure and workshop facilities.

Placements: Placements are good here. Placements for our senior batch are not bad, as about half of the students already got placed. The highest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA-3.4 LPA. Main recruiters of our college are TCS, Infosys, Bosch, etc. The placement cell is really helpful, and it ensures that every student is capable of attending interviews.

Our college provides good faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Some companies like TCS, Bosch, etc., visit our college for placements. The placement cell is really good. They are supportive and give very good feedback to the students. Our college conducts placement classes for students from the second year onwards for preparing them for placements.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placement cell in our college was very keen on making the students getting a job. Companies like TCS visit pour campus every year. But the major problem is that only computer-based companies make their way over there. So the students do not get a chance to get placed in their core field.

Our college provides good placements and infrastructure. I am satisfied with it.

Placements: There was a higher rate of placements compared to neighbouring colleges. Placements provided to us were lower than our seniors. Top companies, like IBS, TCS, Byjus, etc., visited the campus to conduct on-campus drives inside the campus. College provides higher studies option like M.Tech with scholarships for variants.

I am dissatisfied because of laboratories and faculty members.

Placements: Very few companies visited our campus. The placement of cell working was very good. They help students very effectively, and also arrange for internship in various companies like TCS. The college also organises a JonMela, which was helpful for students.

Review of VAST - Vidya Academy Of Science And Technology.

Placements: Placements provided this year are quite good. The CSE course has many placements, but other branch students get low placement opportunities. The highest salary package offered to students was 8 LPA. TCS offered a job for 28 students with a salary package of 3.6 LPA. IBS offered the same salary package to 20 students. Abroad companies also conduct interviews for students. Many companies offer a low salary package. Overall, more than 50% of students get placed here.
