All placement facilities in this college are very good.
Placements: Many reputed companies come here for placements. Here Adani, Reliance, L&T, and many other companies take students for placements. Almost 100% of students got placed in the power electronics department. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.50 LPA. Placements are very good. Placements for all branches here are very good. Many reputed companies take you for internships.
Infrastructure: First of all, the infrastructure of this college is very good. Here, labs, classrooms, library, and everything are good. The hostel facilities for staying here are very good. The mess here is good. It is very good for sports and other games here. All facilities are good here.
Faculty: Education is very good at Vishwakarma Government Engineering College Chandkheda. All teachers here are good. Exam preparation is also done well here.

Good faculty and the campus.
Placements: Around 75% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 12-15 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average ranged between 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters include Reliance, Adani, TCS, Infochip, Tatvasoft, and Bacancy. Approximately 50% of students secured internships at top companies like Adani and TCS. Popular roles include software developer and analyst.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi connected. Classrooms are decent and equipped with projectors, and there is a good library that contains all the required study materials. However, the hostel facilities are not very good, and the mess food is of low quality and unsatisfactory. There are no medical facilities on campus.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful with projects and are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields. The teaching quality is very good. While the course curriculum is relevant to the field, it does not entirely prepare students for the industry, requiring self-learning from students. The college conducts one mid-semester and one end-semester examination. Exams are relatively easy to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about cybersecurity and web development. The course should include newer technologies. The college hosts only one sports day and celebrates Navratri.

B.E. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2027

The worst college life I have ever imagined.
Placements: Around 10 to 20 percent of students proceed to further study. From the remaining 80 percent, almost 40-50 percent of students get placements ranging from 3 LPA to 10 LPA in my Electrical Engineering branch. The top recruiting companies are L&T, Torrent, etc. An individual has to find internships on their own in various companies.
Infrastructure: As the college is a government engineering college, the facilities available here are barely enough. Wi-Fi is available in only a small area on the campus. The classrooms are good, but in labs, there are very few pieces of equipment available. Many times, we have to use simulators to perform practicals. The library is also not so great; its hours are pathetic. It is open from 11 am to 2 pm and then 3 pm to 5 pm. The hostel facilities are not good at all; the taps are not working properly, and many students do not get hostel accommodation and have to stay in PGs. The food is the only good thing.
Faculty: I have given 3 stars because the faculty here are amazing; they teach so well and are well-qualified. But the curriculum here is the worst because 2 to 3 chapters of the syllabus for the end-semester exam remain untaught due to less time. The exams are conducted by GTU, so we have to follow that accordingly.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electricity, and that's why I want to do a master's and further research in this field. There are no fests in this college at all. As the campus is on the highway side, the surrounding area is not very crowded.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and good placements.
Placements: I am studying in Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Chankheda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India -382424. In my college, 70-80% of students are placed in good companies with good packages (salary). The average package is 3 to 6 Lacs per year. Microsoft, TCS, and Tata are the most recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Structure of the government colleges is in good condition, but some places need to be constructed. But all over, college infrastructure is in good condition, that's why we can study in a peaceful environment. Here, to study outside the class, libraries are available.
Faculty: I am studying in the computer department at Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. All the faculty of my college is the best. Faculty with master’s or Ph.D. from IIT or their respective colleges. The faculty is good at teaching.

I am satisfied because of good placements and faculty members.
Placements: Over 90% of students from our batch secured placements in reputable companies. The highest salary package offered is 7.2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA. On average, students received placement offers of approximately 5 LPA. Our course attracted top-tier companies like IBM, Rapidops, and Arguesoft. The most sought-after roles include software engineer, data analyst, and web developer.
Infrastructure: Our department boasts state-of-the-art labs equipped with the latest software and hardware. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, with modern projectors and smart boards. Additionally, the library is a treasure trove of knowledge, offering a vast collection of books, journals, and online resources. Hostel rooms are not very comfortable. The food quality is also not good but there are many PGs near our college. Very less sports activities happen in college.
Faculty: Professors are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. They are always available for doubts and provide helpful guidance. Semester exams are challenging but fair. The pass percentage is reasonable, reflecting the rigor of the course.

Power Electronics Branch's Review in Vishwakarma government engineering college.
Placements: The average placement of our branch is 3 LPA and the minimum package is 2.5 LPA. The highest package given was 4.4 LPA. Recently, only the company started to come to our college like Torrent and other electronics companies. Mindra, Torrent Power, Bharat Electronics Limited.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not too good. There are no labs in working condition, and the facilities are less. The department building is big but not utilized as it should be. There is Wi-Fi available, but the password for students is unknown. Also, the classes are not taken regularly.
Faculty: The curriculum of our branch, Power Electronics, is very good. It is a growing field, and the scope is good. But the students of our branch have no basic knowledge about it; this is the main reason for the low placement record in our branch. The curriculum is nicely designed, but the output of our course in our college is not up to the mark. I think our branch is the best in our college and should be recognized and should be given the best placement because of its importance and growing market.
Other: Because of the growing electric vehicle market and increasing demand for power electronics, I chose this branch. I think the placement of the course should be improved, and also higher-qualified faculty members should be brought in to teach us.

It depends on the selection of courses you choose as B.Tech in Information Technology cutoffs usually go higher. I think for other courses it should not be a problem to get admission in VGEC Ahemdabad.
